The mattress was much more different from what I was used to. My mattress was usually firm whereas this one melted to my form like they were trying to keep me in place. It couldn't.

The light of the dying sun danced around the shadows of Forest's back. They were quite fascinating but I couldn't stay for too long to look at them as the ticking of the clock in his room kept reminding me of how much closer I was to my mother telling me off for being out for so long. I'd get beats with a slipper if she knew what I just did. What did I just do? Nothing that I regret.

I didn't realise how naked I was until I left the duvet and the cold air hugged me. It was an embrace that I could without so I quickly changed and went to the bedroom door. I didn't know whether or not I should have left a note or at least tell him I was leaving. I decided that neither action would benefit either me or him so I did what I thought would be best for both of us. I left quietly.
