Chapter 7

Sammie's pov...

I wake up feeling a lot better than last night, it's finally the weekend, I think to myself as I get up, *ring ring* my phone buzzes "hello" I say sleepily down the phone "is this Sam Plimmer" the person down the phone says "yes that is me who is this" I say now more awake "this is ashton Irwin, Luke's best friend. don't hang up please" he says he sounds desperate, "what do you want" I say bluntly, "Luke is angry I know he was going to your house last night for a dinner but now he's woke up angry and he is smashing things and I have tried along with the other boys to calm him down but he won't, please come to this address quick please Sam I think your the only person who can calm him down" ashton says really fast before hanging up, part of me wants to leave him and let him be angry, but the good in me takes over I have to help him regardless if he hurt me or not, I walk to the address as it's only a couple of streets away, my mum and dad are at work I was glad I didn't have to explain where I was going, I reached the address and I saw who I assumed was ashton sitting on the wall "Sam you came" he said with hope in his eyes, "yeah,whos house is this" I say "Luke's" his mum went out of town for the weekend so he invited us boys over and Luke got really angry when I asked him about last night he said you guys were yelling at each other" ashton says "he started it we were having a normal conversation then he just snapped and went off at me" I say getting angry again, "you don't know do you" he says looking into my eyes "know what" I say rubbing my head, "Luke has anger issues he will be fine one minute then angry the next" he says "now I feel bad for yelling at him" I say sitting down on the wall, "where is he" I say ashton points to the house as we hear several things smashing, "stay here" I say to ashton as I walk towards the house "be careful" ashton says, Luke wouldn't hurt me, or would he, I think as I open the door quietly "ASHTON WHAT DID I TELL YOU LEAVE ME ALONE" I hear Luke yell, I take a deep breath "I'm not ashton" I say softly "sam" Luke says as he turns around "I'm here" I say, "I DONT WANT YOU HERE" Luke yells "well I'm not leaving" I say softly as I walk slowly towards him "you hate me why are you even here" he says now talking normally, "first off I don't hate you, remember I don't hate anyone, second ashton called me he was worried about you" I say softly "worried about me no one ever worries about me" he spits "I worry about you" I say he looks straight into my eyes "no you don't" he says with tears in his eyes we were now sitting down on the couch "if I didn't care I wouldn't be here, when ashton called telling me you were angry I couldn't help but want to come over and calm you down, ash told me you have anger issues that explains last night, I'm so sorry I yelled at you Luke" I say now pretty much whispering, "no I'm sorry I shouldn't of gone off at you I shouldn't of yelled at you" he says putting his head in his hands "now I have to clean up all this mess I've made" Luke says looking around the house there are pillows stuff off shelves and broken cups everywhere, "I have an idea" I say causing Luke to look up "ASHTON COME ON IN" I yell loud enough for ashton to hear me "yeah" he says looking around at the mess "here take this and go and buy a set of mugs exactly like Liz's ones I say showing him one of the un smashed mugs, and handing him $15, "okay" ashton looks at me confused but I give him a reassuring look, "right now while he is gone me and you are going to clean this house up" I say looking at Luke "you don't have to" Luke says "i want to" I reply, Luke pulls me in for a hug, it was unexpected but really comforting, I kind of came to the realization that we can't keep going this way it's not healthy for any of us, after we pulled away from the hug I grabbed my phone and found a set of speakers and put some music on "blink 182" Luke says looking through my playlist, "yeah there one of my favorite bands" I reply "mine to" Luke says with a smile on his face, that is the first genuine smile on his face I have seen, "are we friends" Luke says out of the blu, "yeah I think we are" I reply smiling, before we know it everything was cleaned up and ashton had returned with exact replicas of Liz's mugs we put them away and sat down on the couch puffed out "ashton I never asked you how did you get my number" I said, "Chelsea gave it to me" he said "wait you talk to Chelsea" I said surprised "yeah we have hung out a few times why" he says "she never told me that's all" I say a little hurt she didn't tell me, but then again I never told her about Luke so I guess we're even. "thank you for today" Luke says "it's okay anything to help a friend out" I say and he smiles, "so no more hating on each other" ashton says "nope that's over" I say smiling "yep clean slate were starting over" Luke says laughing, "I better be off my parents will be home soon and they will be wondering where I am" I say "okay thanks again sam" Luke says as he walks me to the door, "don't mention it" I say as I give him a hug, something in me doesn't want me to pull away from this hug but I do and walk away from his house, I'm happy that we have out everything behind us and started again, I hate being mad at people, I get home and there's a note from mum "hey darling, sorry had to pop out again, got some exciting news to tell you when I get home" it read I don't know what it could be, I watch tv for the next hour until I hear mums car pull up, "hey darling do you want to know the exciting news" mum says, "go on" I say "me and Liz were talking and we decided that in the 3 week holiday coming up in like 2 weeks, me you Liz and Luke are going to go on holiday together to Bali." mum says, I'm shocked happy shocked but shocked "oh my god that's amazing, but let me guess dad has to work" I say letting my excitement drop a little, dad is always working, "yeah darling" mum says "but we're going to have such a great time" mum says, I nod and then all of a sudden my phone buzzes

I put my phone back in my pocket, I can't get over we're going to Bali, just last night me and Luke were yelling at each other, now were friends and going on holiday with each other, this is happening so fast, but I kind of like this new change of pace that's happening right now.
