Chapter 8

I wake up and notice I have a text from Chelsea,

Chels: hey come over today?

Me: yeah sure I'll be round in a hour x

Chels: okay xx

I hop out of bed and go to my wardrobe and grab a pair of skinny jeans and a floral top and my ballet flats, I throw my hair up into a messy ponytail, and quickly do my make up. I head downstairs to see a note on the counter, "hey sam, got called into work this morning I'll be home later tonight, don't forget tomorrow's a public holiday" the note reads, whoo no school tomorrow I think to myself, I grab some fruit my phone purse and keys, I lock up and head to Chelsea's, we have so much to catch up on, it think to myself as I get to her door, I don't bother knocking, I stopped that 2 years ago, "chels, I'm here" I yell and at that moment I get bowled over by a very excitable Chelsea, "hey" she says laughing "I have so much to tell you" I say as we sit down on the couch, "so do i" she says " you first" she continues, "so you know how we said that we were going to stay as far away from those boys as possible, that kind of didn't happen the mystery boy was Luke, he was over for dinner and we had a massive fight, then he got really angry yesterday and I was the only one who could calm him down and I did and I found out that he has ADHD which makes him really angry for no reason then we kind of became friends and know my family and his family are going on holiday with each other in a couple of weeks" I say letting out a breath, Chelsea laughs "wow well, I kind of broke the pact as well I have been hanging out with ashton and he really isn't that bad" she said, "aha I know I saw ash and he told me, do you think we jumped to conclusions judging these boys" I say feeling really bad that we just assumed they were dicks "yeah I think we did" Chelsea admits "so do i" I say, "should we see if they want to hang out today" Chelsea suggests, "yeah why not I'll call Luke" I said, I dial his number and wait for him to answer "hey sam" I hear Luke say "hey Luke me and Chelsea are hanging out today and wanted to know if you and the boys wanted to hang with us" I say "me and Ashton can but Michael and Calum are hanging with their girlfriends today" Luke says "that's okay, where do you guys want to meet" I say "Urm what about the park" Luke says "which one" I question, their are a lot of parks down here, "the one we Urm had our fight" he says I can tell he is still hurting from that "yeah okay we will be there in 10 minutes" I say "okay see you then" I hear Luke say before he hangs up, "all sorted were meeting them at the park we will leave now it's a 10 minute walk" I say to Chelsea "okay just let me get my shoes" she says running up to her room. we walk to the park catching up on all the stuff we have missed out on, "doesn't look like there here yet" I say "nope let's go sit on the wall" Chelsea says as we are walking we hear rustling in the bush we go up to the bush and ashton and Luke jump out the bush "boo" they yell "ahhhhhh" Me and Chelsea scream I see Luke and ashton laughing, I give Chelsea a look and she tags along on what we're doing, we cough and the boys look at us "that's no way to treat girls who have brought food" I say as Chelsea holds up a bag of jelly snakes, I smirk but then the boys look at each other with evil grins "GET THEM" Luke yells me and Chelsea run in different directions Luke chasing after me and ashton after Chelsea "get back here sam" Luke yells laughing "nooo" I yell back laughing as well, all of a sudden I feel a pair of strong arms grab hold of my waist and spin me around "ahh Luke put me down" I scream laughing, "are you going to share the snakes" he says in a playful tone, "okay I give in" I say as I feel my feet touch the ground, we turn around to see ashton and Chelsea still running after and chasing each other "should we leave them two alone for a bit" Luke whispers, "yeah I think so I whisper back as we turn and walk around the park "does he like her" I say "yeah he does he won't stop talking about her" he says, "does she like him, "she hasn't told me flat out he likes her but I mean I have known her for ages I can tell when she likes a guy this is defiantly it" I say, "do you think they would ever get together" Luke says, I can tell he cares about his best friend and wants him to be happy the same way I want Chelsea to be happy, before I could answer we were back to where we began the walk and Luke held me back "what" I say Luke hushes me and points were close enough to see Chelsea and ashton, their kissing. "Awh oh my god that's so cute" I whisper "get in there ash" Luke whispers I giggle "ASH ASK HER OUT ALREADY" Luke yells and we see Chelsea and ash pull away from each other " I see ashton take a step back and yells " CHELSEA, WILL YOU PRETTY PLEASE WITH A CHERRY ON TOP BE MY GIRLFRIEND" ashton yells, "yes ashton I will be your girlfriend" I hear Chelsea say Luke does a wolf whistle and I clap and cheer along I run up to Chelsea and give her a hug Luke gives ash a high five, I walk up to ash and give him a hug " I'm not an over protective best friend or anything, but if you hurt her I will hurt you" I say "I wouldn't dream of hurting her sam not in a million years" ash says smiling at her, I'm so happy for Chelsea. she looks over the moon. "one more thing" Luke says causing us all to look at him, "no PDAs okay I want to keep my lunch in my stomach" he says we all laugh "I can't promise anything" ashton says pulling Chelsea in for another kiss, me and Luke make gagging noises and walk off.
