Chapter 22

"so what do you want to do for the day" I say to Luke as I put my plate in the sink, "let's have a movie day" Luke says "ohh yes sounds good" I say as me and Luke walk into the theatre room, we pick out a lot of movies, we decide on the conjuring, I have no idea why I am shit scared of scary movies, about half way through the movie I'm cuddled into Luke's chest with my eyes closed "baby are you scared" Luke says lifting my head up "maybe" I say not wanting to sound like an idiot, "don't worry I'll protect you always" Luke says "thank you baby" I say kissing his nose, "how about we put mean girls on instead" Luke says standing up and changing the DVD, we laugh and cuddle the whole way through the movie, "hey Sam" Luke says standing up "what" I say smiling "get In loser were going shopping" Luke says I shake my head laughing, "you better start getting ready don't you girls need like 8 hours to get ready" Luke says smiling "hey 7 hours" I say laughing, Luke's right though it's already 5pm the day went by so quick "I'm going to have a shower" I say walking up to the bathroom, I strip off my clothes and hop in, thoughts of how lucky I am pop into my head I have Luke I have my career off to a running start I have amazing friends and family who love and support everything I do I couldn't ask for anything else right now, I hop out the shower and wrap the towel around my body as I walk into my room I pick out what in going to wear while I air dry a bit, I decide on a little black dress with long sleeves, and my black ballet flats, I finish drying off and blow dry my hair, I put on a singlet and shorts while I do my makeup, I put my hair in a bun, I apply foundation and concealer and powder, I put on some eye shadow and eyeliner and mascara, and finally put on some red lipstick, once happy with my makeup I take my hair out of its bun and take out my straighter and straighten my hair till it's pin straight then I take my curling iron and curl the ends of my hair, I look at the clock "shit I have 10 minutes" I mumble to myself I quickly put on my dress and shoes and grab my phone purse and bag "babe you ready" Luke yells from downstairs "yeah coming" I yell back, I quickly check my appearance on last time, I walk out of my room and I get to the top of the stairs, I see Luke at the bottom in a suit wow he looked good, "ahem" I cough Luke turns around "wow" Luke breaths out "what" I say smiling "your so beautiful" he says grabbing my finger and spinning me round on my toes "you don't scrub up to bad yourself" I say "shall we be off" Luke says "yea, oh wait let me just write a note just incase mum gets home before us and wonders where we are" I say Luke nods I walk into the kitchen and grab a sticky note and pen and scribble down a note to mum, "done" I say walking back to Luke we walk out the house and walk to Luke's car, he opens the car door for me, "what a gentleman" I say climbing in he jogs round to the other side and gets in and starts the car Luke has one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding my hand "so what classes you got tomorrow at challenger" Luke says "I got a lecture first, then training session with chase then my year 8's" I say "year 8 good year" he questions "yeah there really good kids and I feel as if I can help them like my sport teacher helped me" I say "that's so good baby I'm proud of you for wanting to help them" Luke says squeezing my hand, we talk some more on the way and finally we arrive to the restaurant, we get out the car and Luke grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers, we walk in and look around "sam" I hear allas voice, "over there" I say to Luke as I walk towards the gang, Luke pulls out my chair for me we sit down "hey guys" I say "hey how have you been" Georgia asks "yeah not bad a bit stressed out but nothing major" I say Georgia nods "how about you" I say "yeah great, schools not the same without you and luke" she says "yeah" I say "SAM" I hear Chelsea's voice "Chelsea" I say standing up and hugging her, "its been like a week" I say she laughs "i know how did we survive" she says we sit down and order, once finished I sat back in my chair "you okay" Luke says looking at me with concern "yeah fine just need to go for a walk" I say "come on then" Luke says standing up, "were just going for a walk" I say the guys nod we walk around for a bit through the city "your a pretty little thing aren't you" a male voice from behind says I turn around "Luke" I breath out "what" he says and turns around to notice what I'm staring at, a hooded man with a gun pointing straight at me "move and I shoot her" the man warns Luke, tears fall from my eyes "what do you want, money" Luke says stern getting out his wallet and throws a $50 note at the man "no I want her she is very pretty isn't she" the man taunts "well you can't have her" Luke says i hear the gun click over I'm shaking all of a sudden I hear the gun go off and I feel a strong push in the shoulder I go flying onto the ground, I hit my head on the ground slightly my vision goes all fuzzy, I see the man run away I get up rubbing my head I look to my left and Luke is laying on the floor next to me with blood seeping
