Chapter 26

We all head out for breakfast, "mum can I ask you something" I say, I feel Luke grab my hand under the table "sure hun" mum says "challenger isn't working for me" I say "I've noticed" mum says "really was it that obvious" I say "sort of, you would come home and go straight to bed your not eating properly and your constantly doing work" mum says "it's just stressing me out" I say "well you remember what I said right" mum says I nod "job" I say "how about you and Luke concentrate on finding a house then start looking for a job you've been through enough" mum says smiling, "thank you" I say.

We spent the rest of the day shopping and stuff then I have Christy a ring and let her know I wouldn't be attending anymore, she was really good about it and said if I ever changed my mind just to give her a ring, everyone is so nice and supportive of everything I do.

*skip the rest of the day*

"Babe wake up" Luke says jumping my bed Luke stayed over last night, "what I don't want to" I groan rolling over and pulling the covers over my head "oh I think you do" Luke says laying over the top of me "remember we're going to look at that house today" Luke says "oh I forgot about that" I say sitting up "what time do we have to be there" I say "in 2 hours" Luke says "shit I better go have a shower" I say getting out of bed and heading to my bathroom, I take a quick shower and hop out, I blow dry my hair and straighten it, we need to make a good impression I think as I apply makeup, I walk out and grab some clothes, I put on my skinny jeans and a white singlet with a leather jacket and my ankle boots, I stand in front if the mirror "looking good babe" Luke says as he walks in "thanks not bad yourself" I say looking at Luke who has his skinny jeans a T-shirt "shall we be going" Luke says I nod and grab my bag, Luke and I intertwine our fingers but something else is playing on my mind, it's mine and Luke's 1 year anniversary today but he hasn't mentioned it, I have brought him a new guitar he's been eyeing it for a while, "what's wrong" Luke says "nothing" I shrug and smile, Luke gives me a unsure look but we finally arrive at the house "it's beautiful" I say as we get out the car, "hello you must be Luke" the women said "yes that's me and this is my girlfriend sam" Luke says she has out her hand and I shake it politely "nice to meet you I'm Jessica I'm good friends with Liz, and also the real estate agent" she says "lovely to meet you to" I say smiling back "shall we take a look at the property" Jessica says Luke and I nod "this house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one of which is a en suit, it has a open plan kitchen and a big backyard with a pool the living room is huge" she finishes I love it, it's perfect "thank you for letting us come have a look at it" Luke says "no worries" Jessica says as we say goodbye, we walk out to the car "what did you think" Luke says "I love it, it's the perfect size, and location" I say Luke just smiles "oh I forgot my keys go wait by the car I'll just run in and grab them" Luke says I nod and smile.

Luke's POV

I left my keys in the house purposely, you see today is mine and Sam's 1 year anniversary and me and mum were talking and it wanted to buy us a house for her present so mum called Jessica and asked if their was a property available and Jess found this within my price range and so here we are, and the best part of it all I waited to see if Sam liked it and she does so I'm buying it today.

"so does she like it" Jessica says as I walk in

"She does she loves it" I say, "okay sign here and pay up then it's all yours" Jessica says, I smile and sign and give her the money "welcome to your new home" Jess says giving me a hug "thank you so much she's going to be over the moon" I say taking the keys and putting them in my pocket.

"Took your time" Sam says as I get back to the car "sorry I was talking to Jessica" I say smiling "it's okay" she says as we hop in the car and drive home

SAMs POV

"The house was really nice" I say to mum and Liz as we enter the house "yeah" mum says smiling "babe I have an idea why don't we go for a drive with our mums and show them the house" Luke says "good idea but they'll only be able to see the outside" I say Luke nods "we don't mind" Liz says "come on then" Luke says, he's really excited I don't know why, we pull up to the house again and hop out the car we walk up the the door and Luke pulls out a set of keys "why do you have keys shouldn't Jessica have them" I say Luke stays quiet as we walk in he put the keys down on the kitchen top "are you going to answer me" I say a little frustrated, Luke turns around to look at me with a smirk on his face, I turn to mum and Liz who are also smirking "okay what's going on" I say "welcome home babe" Luke says smiling.

"No way" I breath out, "happy anniversary" Luke says I just run up to Luke and jump into his arms "this is ours" I say looking around "all ours" Luke says before crashing his lips onto mine.
