Chapter 4

I roll off my bed as my alarm scared the shit out of me, I stand up and rub my now sore elbow, I go to my bathroom and wash my face, I then go to my wardrobe and get out my sport shorts and top, I have majority sport lessons today so i may as we'll stay in my sports kit all day, I think to myself i put my hair up in a bun, and do natural make up, I'm not feeling particularly hungry this morning so I don't bother with breakfast, then there's a knock at the door "who is it" I yell "just me" Chelsea says stepping into my room, "your early" I say to her "early,we have 5 minutes till we're suppose to leave" Chelsea says laughing, "wow I must of over slept" I say "you ready" I hear mum yell, "yeah" I say grabbing everything in my bag and running downstairs "forgetting something" Chelsea says holding up my phone "what would I do without you" I say smiling and taking my phone "come on girls quick in the car" mum says, we hop in the car jamming along to songs that come on the radio, we finally pull up at school, we hop out and say goodbye to mum, "don't forget Hun Liz and her family are coming over for dinner tonight so I want you straight home" mum says smiling as she pulls away "who's liz" Chelsea says, "a new lady who works with my mum, her and her son are coming over for dinner" I say to Chelsea as we walk towards English class, "ohh is he your age" Chelsea says wiggling her eyebrows "yes he is but you know me and guys I always just push them away" I say, it's true I have never had a boyfriend, every time a boy comes near me I freak out and I never let anyone close enough to hurt me, I think that's why I shut boys out I don't want to get hurt, I don't want to feel that pain that everyone says is heartbreaking, that's exactly what I don't want. we arrive at English and we get there just on the bell, we walk in to my surprise Luke is already in class, I take a seat next to him and get out my stuff "shit" I say out loud, I hear Luke laugh "what" I say bluntly "just funny hearing such a prude like you swear" he says, "a prude" I spit "what makes you think I'm a prude" I continue, "your hairs always neat, your always so uptight, and your so consumed in doing well at school your not enjoying it" he says with a proud look on his face "excuse you" I say astounded by how rude he is, "you herd me" he says "I did hear you and i don't care what you think of me because your opinion is invalid" I say "right class get out your copy of Romeo and Juliet" miss says, I pull out my copy and start to read along, I can feel a pair of eyes on me so I look up to see Luke looking straight at me "it's rude to stare" I say looking back down at my book "funny how I don't care" he said smirking, god this boy was a pain in my butt, after class had finished I went to sport and we had a lesson free of those idiots, I don't know where they were but I really couldn't care less,before I knew it the school day was over and I was walking home with Chelsea "have fun with this mystery guy tonight" Chelsea said bumping me on the shoulder "shit I forgot about that mum wants me to dress nice, what should I wear" I say "ohhh come in quickly I got the perfect dress you can borrow" Chelsea says dragging me into her house, we run up to her room and she pulls out this beautiful cream playsuit with long sleeves it had a gold belt and it was stunning "perfect" I say taking it off her giving her a quick hug "text me later after the dinner to let me know how it went" she says hugging me back "will do" I say leaving Chelsea's house, I love living only a street away from Chelsea it's so quick. I think to myself as I walk into my home,"mmmm, smells good mum" I say I can smell food "thanks darling, what's that you got" she said pointing to the outfit in my hands "oh Chelsea lent me this playsuit for tonight" I say holding it up to show mum "beautiful darling" she says "you better start to get ready they will be here in 30 mins" mum says "shit" I say as I run upstairs to take a shower, after one of the quickest showers I have ever had I hop out and blow dry my hair, "I have 15 minutes" I say I'm now panicking to get ready, I walk into the bathroom and do my make up I put a bit more on than usual just because it's people I have never met before I want to make a good impression, I then wiz back into my room and put on Chelsea's playsuit "perfect fit" I say to myself, I then take out my straighter and straighten my hair, in all the manic of getting ready I didn't realize they were here *knock knock* "come in" I say "Hun dinners ready the guests are here as well" dad says "okay just finishing up then I'll be down" I say as dad nods and leaves the room, I put my ballet flats on and grab my iPhone, I check my appearance on more time before taking a deep breath as I walk downstairs, I Reach the dining room and I walk in...
