"Keith, c'mon! We gotta go!"

I woke up with a snort and looked around. Lance stood at the entrance to our tent, gun in hand and a terrified look on his face.

"Get your shoes on and grab your bag! Matt's screaming earlier attracted an entire herd!"

I quickly put on my black combat boots and grabbed my black backpack. I almost forgot my axe, but I snatched it before running out of the tent and into the woods with Lance right behind me.

We ran for quite awhile before I stopped and put my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath.

"We've been separated from the other two..." Lance mumbled. I stood up straight and looked around. We were in a thickly wooded area.

"Lets try to find a road." I suggested. Lance nodded. We hiked through the woods for hours before we finally reached a break in the trees.

I ran out into the road and looked around. There was a car down the road a ways. I pointed it out to Lance and he nodded. We slowly made our way to it side by side, guns at the ready to shoot if something went wrong. I looked inside of the car and opened the door when I didn't see anyone inside. Living or dead. I looked through it and came up with a gun, three cans of food, and a black fedora. I giggled and put the hat on, posing a couple times for Lance. He laughed. He took his small Polaroid camera out of his bag.

"Give me a little spin, Keithy." I did what he asked and laughed, taking it off and putting it on Lance. He handed me the camera and I took a few pictures of him.

"So hot," I said. "That is a very hot hat."

Lance stopped and pouted. "I'm not hot?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Please. You're barely a 4/10 on a good day."

Lance grinned and hugged me, kissing me all over my face. I squirmed in his arms and pushed him away. "Not right now, Lance." I said with a wink. He immediately blushed and I couldn't stop the laugh that slipped out.

We got in the car as the sun went down and locked it. I put the backseat down (it leads to the trunk) and smiled when I found a few blankets. Lance and I covered the windows of the car with the blankets and kept one for ourselves. Lance laid down in the backseat as I looked in the glove box. I found a twix bar and opened it, happy to see it was still good. I offered the right twix to Lance and we clicked our candy together.

"Cheers." Lance said with a grin. We bit into our chocolate together and Lance let out a small moan. "I missed chocolate." He mumbled.

"Me too."

When we finished our chocolate, I joined Lance in the backseat and he snuggled up to me. I fell asleep with a smile on my face, Lance's legs tangled with mine, so close I couldn't tell which arm belonged to who.

"Keith.." I woke with a start and looked over at Lance lying next to me. He had tears running down his face and his gun in his hands. I strained to listen to what was happening outside of the car we were sleeping in.

It's been a month since we were separated from Matt and Shiro. I felt like Shiro was probably dead, the state he was in. Matt might have given up from the grief.

"Tony," I steadied my breathing as I listened to someone speak outside of the car. "Did you just claim this car?"

"Yeah I did." Another deep voice answered the first. "I'm gonna check the trunk." The trunk opened and Lance stiffened, tightening his hold on his gun.

"Keith," Lance breathed into my ear. "If we can't get away from this.. I want you to know I love you." I turned over and faced him. He held more love in his eyes than I've ever seen. "Keith Kogane. I love you more than life itself." He reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring. My breath hitched and I stared at it with wide eyes. It was very simple, with a thin gold band and one single tiny diamond. "Marry me?"

I nodded, unable to say anything in fear of attracting the attention of the men outside. He put the ring on my finger and I smiled widely like an idiot. He took out another ring and gave it to me. I put it on his ring finger. "You may kiss the bride." He said softly. I kissed him passionately and he flipped me over onto my back so he was on top of me. He shoved his tongue in my mouth and for once, I didn't fight him for dominance. I let out a moan, forgetting about the men outside, forgetting about the fact that the world was damned, forgetting everyone we lost, forgetting about my empty stomach, forgetting everything except the feeling of Lance. It was just me and Lance in our own little world. We belonged to each other, He was my HUSBAND. I smiled into the kiss.

But our perfect little illusion didn't last long... A gunshot went off, shattering the window above our heads. We scrambled to the other side of the backseat. I was shoved into the other door by Lance, him sitting in front of where I was smashed into the door, protecting me. I stared as a hand ripped away the blanket in front of the window. An old man looked in with a grin on his face.

"Well would you look at this!" I flinched at his rough voice. "We got ourselves a couple of homos!"

"Really?" Asked an excited voice. The man in front of us sighed and shook his head.

"Yeah," He said. "They look like teenagers. You can claim them if you want to, Dan. Nobody else here is interested in guys." the man walked away and was replaced by chubby guy, who licked his lips. He waved his gun at us, signalling for us to get out of the car. Lance grabbed my hand and pulled me out with him. Lance stood in front of me as we stood in front of the man who was holding a gun at us. The man who planned to do horrible things to us. I bit my lip and looked at the ground, terrified.

"Hmm.." He hummed. "Move away from behind him, please." I swallowed and moved next to Lance. I started to shake as I felt his eyes practically rape me. "You." I snapped my head up. He gave me a sick smile. "I want you." He moved his finger and pulled the trigger.

Haha! I feel so evil. You'll have to wait to see what happens.
