You know what, it's been 10+ days since the last one shot. This one's not gonna be in an AU, because why not?

*Roman's POV*

I was laying on the couch with my arm wrapped around Virgil. We were both on our phones. While I was texting Remy, Virgil was scrolling through Tumblr blasting music so loud I could hear it through his earbuds.

At some point I became vaguely aware of Patton's and Logan's voices. I couldn't figure out the whole conversation, but I heard small portions of the conversation like "Wouldn't it be funny if..." or "It could and should be done..."

I glanced down at Virgil, who was, I believe, listening to "The Overpass", to see if he was aware of this as well. He'd been playing the new album on shuffle so many times I'd begun to recognize the song titles.

He noticed my shift in movement, which caused him to look up at me. "What is it, Ro?" He mumbled and rested his head on my shoulder.

"Nothing, Love. Just admiring you." I smiled and planted a kiss on his forehead. He gave me a small smile in return and let out a sigh as he settled into his curled up position.

"You're too nice to me." I thought I heard him say before Patton rushed out into the living room and up the stairs before I could even say hi to him. Virgil even took out an earbud and sat up a bit at the disturbance.

After a few minutes had passed, he and I both relaxed again. "What was that all about?" My boyfriend asked me.

"Knowing Patton, we'll probably find out either later today or early tomorrow." I sighed, not necessarily looking forward to whatever Virgil and I had in store.

*Virgil's POV*

It had been a day since Patton had dashed through the house. I'd become increasingly anxious about it, causing me to listen to my music somehow even more than usual. I must have broken some sort of record by now, maybe "most amount of times listened to Pray For The Wicked in the span of 24 hours".

Neither Patton nor Logan had given us a good answer when Roman and I asked them what yesterday was about. Logan had looked to Patton, who had giggled and said that we'd find out soon enough. I didn't have any idea what they were planning.

"What is going on with about them?" Roman asked me. He and I were sitting on the roof of the place.

"You're asking me like it isn't a rhetorical question. How would I know?" I chuckle nervously.

"The suspense is beginning to become unbearable. If I memorize all of those songs you've been listening to before their plan is revealed, they will have some serious repercussions." He pouted. I nearly giggled. I almost giggled! That never happens.

"What repercussion will they get? Will they be slain righteously?" I teased and playfully punched Roman in the shoulder. "If you lay a finger on Patton I'll kill you myself."

Roman let out an exasperated groan. "I simply cannot be kept waiting any longer! It's all too much to handle!" He put a hand to his forehead and laid down, as if he had fainted. I rolled my eyes and laid down next to him.

"If I'm not listening to Northern Downpour yet, you're gonna be fine." I reassured him and pecked him on the cheek, though I knew he wouldn't quite understand.

"I have no idea what that is or why it is significant, but I trust your judgement." He admitted. I smirked at that.

"You're still my clueless moron, Roman." I stroked his cheek.

"I'm still deciding whether I should be insulted or flattered by that statement." He said.

"Be flattered." I decided.

*Roman's POV*

Virgil and I found out what Logan and Patton's surprise was the next morning. I'd woken up in Virgil's room, completely alone, with bangs over my eyes.

I went to the mirror and found that I was dressed in his style of clothing (with the exception of some minor red accents) but everything else was completely Virgil. I even felt like Virgil. Not a good feeling.

The only idea that popped into my head was to go to my room to see if Virgil was experiencing the same thing. I did so, only to see him sitting cross-legged on my bed, staring incredulously at the mirror.

He turned to me when I walked in. "R-Roman...?" Virgil looked me up and down, his expression between horror and trying not to laugh.

"It's not like you don't look ridiculous yourself." I scoffed and went down to sit next to him on my bed.

"I do look ridiculous..." Virgil let out a small laugh that still made my heart stumble a bit. "But you just look so much more ridiculous than I do."

"Nonsense. I'm the Prince. I always and only slay." I gesture to myself.

"You're not a Prince now, Gloomiere." Virgil surprised himself at the nickname, to which I was offended. "You're nothing short of scene."

"Scene? Gloomiere? You're totally stealing my thing and you're confusing me. Not fair." I crossed my arms.

"No matter who's body your soul is in, you'll always be a drama queen." He smirked.

"Things better not stay like this for long." I leaned back on my arms. "I don't know how long I can stand to see your forehead, Jason Mourn."

Virgil wrinkled his nose at that one. "Wasn't your best one. If we want a chance at fixing this, we gotta go get Logan. He'll know how to fix this." He told me.

"Fair enough." I said as we both got up and went to Logan's room.

I was a few levels too calm to kick down the door to his room, but I was very close to doing so. Virgil looked at my in a sort of surprised way before Patton came up to us.

"How do you guys feel?" Patton asked us.

*Virgil's POV*

"Awful. Where the heck is Logan? I could hold him at gunpoint right now if I had a handgun, which I do know how to use." I ranted.

"Aww, you even sound like him, Virgil!" Patton jumped up and down the way he does when he finds something very cute.

"I take it the gumdrops worked, Patton?" Logan rolled over in a swivel chair. "Salutations, Roman, Virgil."

"It worked according to your plan, which neither of us happen to like." Roman grumbled.

"I suppose I should give you the cure. However, I wouldn't want to say goodbye to this moment forever." Before I even knew what was happening, Patton was taking our picture on a camera.

"Hey!" I made a grab for the camera, but Patton was too quick.

"Virgil, that's very naughty of you. No snatching allowed." Patton playfully waved a finger at me.

"Here are the gumdrops to reverse the effects." Logan handed Roman and I one gumdrop each. "I suggest taking them tonight so that the effect can occur overnight while you're asleep. Otherwise, it can be quite... uncomfortable."

"No, I think I'll be fine with taking it now. What about you, Virge?" Roman asked me.

"Sure. I'm tired of operating Roman's body anyway." I shrugged and popped the gumdrop in my mouth as Roman did.

Almost immediately, I got an overwhelming sensation of dizziness and nausea. I stumbled into the wall and braced my arm against it for support.

After the sensation passed, I blinked my eyes a few times to discover that my bangs were back. I sighed in relief and adjusted them a bit to have them in place.

"I hated every moment of that." Roman announced. "I love you, Virgil, but I'd never want to physically be you."

"The feeling is mutual." I responded with a sigh.
