She didn't say a single word, nor did she looked at him once during the entire distance they walked towards the prison. Leon knew cause he noticed. Her silence made him angrier inside. When they reached the prison cell, he shoved her inside with a little too much force than it was necessary. Still, then she remained silent.
Then he came back home and tried to forget her. You just completed your duty, Leon. You caught the spy. Leon tried to say to himself. But nothing was giving him peace. The kiss that he took from her before the arrest came back to haunt him. Whenever he tried to close his eyes, her blue eyes came to his mind.
She is just a spy who played with you. Forget about her. Leon said to himself over and over again. But why deep down something keeps telling him that there is more to it. Why does he have the feeling that there is more story behind those ocean blues then she showed?

He kept looking at her while he walked her to prison. Hilal can sense that in her bones but she didn't have the courage to look at him back. First time in her life she fell in love and the person she fell in love with turns out to be her enemy. What rotten luck she has. She knew he was the danger, she knew he would be her downfall but she couldn't stop herself from falling. She knew the fall would hurt her, break her but even then her stupid heart jumped.
Stupid Hilal. Now, look where that got you. In this dark cold prison cell. Her logical-self scolded her emotional heart. But even lying on the hard stone floor of the prison, shivering in cold Hilal kept thinking about him. Thinking about his anger, his hurt. It was not one-sided what she felt. He has felt just as much as her. It was clear as day.
Hurting him was the last thing she wanted but she had no other choice. Fate has played a cruel game with both of them. They are lovers that were never meant to be. But somehow their star has crossed.

"Well done Captain. I have expected nothing less from you," Commander Filipos was congratulating Leon the next day. "You have completed your work and it's time the military will keep their words for a job well done. Your release papers from the military will be prepared as soon as possible. I'll see to it myself."
Having a sleepless night Leon was kind of out of focus in the morning. He was listening to the news that he wanted to hear for several years now. He should be ecstatic but instead, he felt nothing. He just nodded along.
"Leon?"
"Yes, commander."
"What is it, my son? I thought you wanted this."
"I did and I'm happy," Leon tried to smile towards his uncle.
"You don't look like happy to me. Something is bothering you. What is it?" Commander Filipos asked curiously.
"It's nothing uncle. I was stressed with this mission and now that it is done suddenly I'm exhausted," Leon lied.
"Hmm. I understand you. Well hang on a little more, you'll be free from all this soon my son," Commander Filipos said to Leon while patting his back affectionately.
"What will happen with the spy?" Leon asked suddenly.
"You know the usual. She'll be given a chance to co-operate with us and supply us with Eskorian information. If she does then she'll be given protection and her punishment will be less. But if she doesn't then she'll be executed."
"Oh," Leon's face suddenly became pale. He stood up and said, "Excuse me, Commander. I remembered I have some unfinished paperwork to be done," and then left the room abruptly.
