It was late at night. Leon was checking on the children. He made sure Mehmet was asleep in his bed first. Then checked on his three-year-old son who was sleeping beside Mehmet peacefully. He gave a kiss to both and covered them with a blanket before turning off the light. Then he went to check on his daughter in the other room. To his surprise, he found her wide awake.
"Why aren't you sleep, my princess?" Leon asked gently.
"I was waiting for you to come, baba," the little girl said in a happy voice.
"And why are you waiting for me?"
"I want to listen to the story."
"Which story?"
"The story of a brave spy and a kind soldier."
"Oh, that one. But haven't you heard it many times now?" Leon asked his daughter teasingly.
"I did but it is my favourite story, baba. Please tell it to me one more time."
And so Leon began to tell the story to his daughter.

After he finished the story he put his daughter to sleep and returned to the bedroom where Hilal was waiting for him.
"Did you tell her the story again?"
"Yes, she can't seem to get over it."
"I think subconsciously she knows it's the story about us."
"Maybe and she smiles everytime the brave spy rescues her soldier and when they live happily ever after," Leon said to Hilal while hugging her tightly to his arms.
"It is a story that will bring a smile to anyone cause it has a happy ending," Hilal said to Leon.
"So they lived happily ever after?" Leon asked Hilal with a teasing smile.
Hilal looked at her husband with full of love and answered,
"Yes, they lived happily ever after."
The End.
