You were struggling growing up. You were allergic to dust, a lot of foods, and animal hairs. Those were the first symptoms you showed at an early age. Outside was an absolute nightmare, except for Winter when everyone is inside and everything is basically dead.
It had to be a somewhat sunny winter though, you also caught colds very easily. Socializing was a risk, going places was a risk, it is a must to have a mask and allergy medication on you.
It was annoying, you despised being allergic to basically everything. It has kept you from leaving the care of your parents, having to still live with them and not being able to go out as much is not fun. Your parents attempt to call it a blessing in disguise.
You were organized, squeaky clean, and a very healthy eater because of your allergies. Your parents try their best to care for you even though they are mostly at work.
Your parents kept everything clean for the sake of you not dying in your own home. Fortunately you could put on clothes peacefully, they are your protectors at times so you tended to wear a lot of long sleeves, long pants, and socks 24/7 with a long collection of hoodies.
All you could do is read fanfics, watch TV, and not go outside because of a choking on air risk. Why weren't you just allergic to oxygen at this point.
When your parents returned from work they came with a horrible news that you couldn't do anything about.
"We have a business trip," your mom said slowly.
"So I'm going to die?" You retorted, it was an exaggeration but your mom and dad were the only people who could run out for your medication, cook for you, clean the house since you had dust allergies, and basically help you live.
"No, no, we got someone to take care of you while we are gone." Your dad then spoke up, both of them smiling softly at you, trying to comfort you.
"I trust you guys," you reply then carefully hug them both.
When they left your room, you sat down on your bed while heaving a long sigh. You turned on the TV for some entertainment; you were watching the news channel a while ago and apparently never changed it.
It was talking about how androids were now gaining freedom. You smiled at that for a moment, this was good news. Your parents were supportive of androids developing feelings. When ours started to show such signs we didn't think of it as an android, it was family. Family that needed comfort and safety. It was a she and she was now gone, probably enjoying the freedom she now had.
Your parents trusted a lot of androids and had contact with them many times which made you wonder if they had gotten one of them to come over and care for you. You wouldn't be surprised and you definitely weren't complaining.
Time went by until finally a day before their business trip arrived. This someone they told to care for you was now going to meet you. You were impatient, you kept asking questions, and pacing in your living room, waiting to meet this someone.
