I was excited to get to this one, mostly because I had no idea how I was going to portray his character but as I have said before it is good to try new things. Luther deserves love and attention anyway. ♡

You had moved into Canada awhile back. You now had a home made a living, it was getting unsafe back in Detroit. You hated leaving without helping but there wasn't much you could do in general.

You remembered clearly, the day your android ran off without a word. Of course you accepted it and moved along. His name was Luther, you hoped he was enjoying his freedom that he was happy wherever he was. His happiness was your priority all the time and you hoped to someday see him again, someday tell him that you adored him.

There was never a day where you didn't worry about his safety. Where you wanted him to come back, but you needed to respect his decisions and as much as it hurt, you loved him enough to let him go.

Luther knew that you went here, he had always wanted to return, what you didn't know was that he was forced out. You lived with your boyfriend at the time and he had threatened your life if he didn't leave. He left in order to keep you safe, he couldn't take the risk of making irrational decisions and went away.

He then got caught up with someone else who tortured androids, broke them apart, and treated them exactly how everyone percieved them. He absolutely despised it, but there was nowhere to go.

When he was finally able to escape with Kara. He was dedicated to getting them out with you on the back of his mind. He wanted the safety of Kara and Alice first before he dedicated himself to thinking about you.

He missed you, he remembered all the kind things you told him, never treating him any less than a human even though he wasn't one. You became of great importance to him and he will always believe that he left because of how much he cared about you.

When he could finally let go of Kara and Alice he went in search of you. He only heard that you had moved, but he was unable to get any specific details about your whereabouts. He didn't know where to start, he stood outside in the cold air that didn't bother him, he watched as other people rushing by shivered and pulled their jackets tightly around their bodies.

"The season invites us for a cup of hot tea." Luther looks down at the smaller figure that had spoken to him.

"Someone told me that once." He replied. He couldn't see the person's face, it was covered by their scarf. "Are you not cold?"

"Aha." She laughed softly, "Of course I'm cold, but you're standing out here too. Are you not cold?"

"You should get going, you will freeze out here." He calmly warned the person.

"Then you come along, the season invites you to come with me for tea." Luther looks at the person once more and is able to see their eyes, they had pretty [E/C] eyes.

"It's dangerous to invite strangers out for tea." He replies.

"I'll suffer the consequences then." He sees small wrinkles appear at the corner of their eyes, they were smiling.

"Come along now." Luther follows the person, it was twenty-five minutes of walking until they arrived to a decently sized house.

You had invited over someone who you had no knowledge of. He was just standing out in the snow and you didn't see him as a threat at all. His aura was comforting and you followed that.

Does he even like tea? I mean, that's what I invited him here for. It'd be weird if he didn't.

You let your doubts go away and made a warm cup of tea then brought it to the round table in your dining room.

"I hope you like tea." You sat down on the side, not too far away from him, but close enough to hear him clearly.

"I don't drink or eat really." He hinted and you immediately understood. You took a good look at him and there was something about him that was extremely familiar, what exactly was it?

"Ah so you're an android." You smile at him. "In this house you're a person too though so what's your name?"

"Luther." He smiled back gently at you.

"Luther.." You repeated, letting his name linger in the air a little longer. "Luther?" You finally saw it, the comforting aura, the familiar face, it was something so clear yet you were blind to the signs.

"Yes." He saw your facial expressions change rapidly between confusion and sadness. "Are you alright?"

"Luther it's me, Y/n." You lowered your scarf and when he saw your face completely he saw you, he saw his lost love, he saw the person that he cared about greatly ever since they met.

"I..I missed you." He said, you both stood from your chairs, you immediately let yourself go, wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your body against his in a warm embrace.

"I missed you too." You sighed, "I missed you so much." You let go to take hold of his face. "I broke my promise, I'm so sorry Luther."

"You promised to be there with an armful of roses for me." He repeated what he memorized. "I didn't understand until now that your embrace was the warmth and you were the roses."

"I promise this time I won't let you go, this time my heart belongs to you." You take his hands yours and kiss him on the cheek.

"This time we share everlasting love." He replies as he kisses your hands that were intertwined with his.

I finished the route for Ray on Mystic Messenger yesterday morning and I have been feeling so emotional. I love the ending song so muchhh. Ughshsgdhdj
