"I don't need help I'm perfectly fine"i said as I walked downstairs

"You do Alex I know you"Emmett said grabbing my arm

"You used to know me"i said looking at him

"i still know you better than anyone maybe better than yourself"he said putting emphasis on still as i snatched away from him looking away

"i know this all is my fault i did this to you when i let you leave"he said i shook my head

"Emmett...."he cuts me off

"let me finish.... I should've came with you like any loving boyfriend would do i know Paul would"he said i bit my lip and looked down nodding

"he would"i agreed

"I'm sorry I was a big disappointment"he said i looked at him

"don't do that to yourself Emmett"i said

"you say there's something wrong with me that you wanna help me?okay? Be my guest but you won't get far blaming yourself if anything it's my fault"i told him he shakes his head

"it's not"he said

"if I wouldn't have came back for Bella you think we'd still be together?"i asked him it was his turn to look down and nod

"exactly i know now that i did everything humanly possible to protect her and i died in the process but Bella is old enough to know right from wrong and the way she wants to live"i told him

"I'll regret not being there fast enough to stop him"he said i smiled and hugged him with a sigh

"i feel so much better to have that off my chest now"i said making us both laugh

I sat on my bed looking out the window I didn't even look back at Bella as she spoke

"how are you feeling?"she asked me I scoffed

"you say that as if I'm sick"i said

"in a way you kinda are"she said I looked at her through the window

"sick of what? Life? Everyone's sick of life at one point of their life"i told her

"you're not like everyone else though you have a gift"she said I laughed

"a gift? You call this a gift?" I asked turning around

"it's what I want"she said I rolled my eyes

" have you really thought it through? You do realize you have to feed right?" I asked her

"human or animal? You're still a murder"i said Edward sped up the stairs

"Alex calm down" he told me
