This feels like the edgeTip tiptoeing tip toes
Beat beat beat
Blood races through my veins
My breath deepens
Chest holds firm
Restraining myself from falling
Falling now that is the fear
Thinking of it makes me want to fall
But falling is the phobia
So I stand strong
On the tip on my shoulders
Help back like my want to fall
Jump even
Off the edge and just forget
Forget the pain of being strong
Strong enough to stand tip toed on the edge
Forget the feeling of the blood
Forget the tears that stream
Forget the edge
I wish it was a distant memory
But something can't be far
When you're so close to it
The edge
It calls me reels me in
Tugs at my heart strings
Causing the pressure to rise
Blood collects in its grasp
And I loose the deep breath
Oxygen escapes my gasp
Tip toes tip tip toes
Fall...
