I gotta say, going to that swingers party was interesting. It was something I wouldn't forget. It made me wonder, too, about what it would be like to be those kinds of couples that we saw at the party. Could I really watch another man have sex with my wife? Could I have sex with a stranger while Demi watched? Demi & I never brought these questions up to each other. Not for a long time anyway. After a few months, we didn't even hardly ever mention it or laugh about it anymore. Our sex life was definitely good after that.

Marissa gave birth to a healthy baby girl on December 15, 2026. She named her London Michelle & Demi already planned her wedding to Avery. Marissa ended up moving back to Texas shortly after London was born, so her & Demi were, once again, together all the time.

The band & I put out another album in 2027 & did another tour that summer. Demi put out an album, too, but she wasn't touring until the fall of 2027. She was doing a few weeks at a time, then coming home for a few weeks. She hated being away from the kids, but it was the life we chose.

Touring with four children is fun. Yes, that was sarcasm. We had a lot of people helping us, that we brought on the tour for that specific reason. Demi's sister, her nieces, our cousins & the nanny that Blanda & Joe had with them for years. Not to mention our moms would help us when they visited. We came off of our tour in early August, right before the kids all started school. I went right into working in the studio with other artists. I was still writing & producing. I hadn't had an acting job in a while, but had been getting a lot of offers. Demi put her book out & it was on the best seller's list for over a year. She also was getting acting job offers, but we were turning them down, mostly because we didn't want to leave Texas.

In September of 2027, I was turning 35 & Reid was turning 4. We were having a birthday party for him on Sunday afternoon & on Saturday night, we were celebrating my birthday with friends & family. On my actual birthday, a Thursday, Demi came out of the bathroom, wearing one of my baseball jerseys, unbuttoned almost all the way & wearing no pants or panties as she quickly revealed. Her hair was in two braids & she had on my Rangers hat backwards & looked incredibly hot. My mouth watered almost instantly.

She took the hat off & tossed it, then removed the shirt & threw it behind her. She kept her eyes locked on mine as she pulled my boxers down. "You'll get the rest of your present on Saturday." She said.

"You don't need to get me anything. I would be perfectly fine with just the sex."

Demi sighed, still smiling. Her hand moved slowly through my hair as her gaze stayed on her fingers. "I want to give you something really amazing for your 40th birthday."
