The sky had turned into an angry grey matter, the clouds were moving around furiously, followed by blinding lightning strikes and thunderstorms. Rain crashed in a strong force against the earth.
Tenten awoke from her sleep upon hearing the thunder rumbling.
Shit
Tenten rubbed her sweaty face as she suppressed a shriek upon hearing another thunder roaring furiously. She hated thunderstorms, it reminded her of her parents' death. During missions, whenever they were forced to camp out during massive thunderstorms, she would hardly sleep. Her mood would be grumpy the very next day. She bit her lip when she saw another flash of lightning and prepared for the worse, she closed her eyes shut as her lips trembled. She suddenly felt the descending of her bed as someone's weight shifted against it from her back. She turned to see Neji clambering on her bed as he delicately said, "Shh. It's okay, Tenten. It'll be okay." He rubbed the small of her back soothingly.
"Neji?" Tenten called out.
"Hm?" He replied lazily as he continued to massage her back.
"I am afraid of thunder. Deathly afraid. Please don't tell Lee and Gai.." Tenten pleaded quietly.
Neji chuckled lightly, "When have I ever sold you out?"
Which was true, Neji had never disappointed her, she, in fact trusted Neji with her life.
"Oh and Neji?" Tenten started as a small smile crept on her face.
"Yeah?" Neji replied.
"Thank you." Tenten exclaimed gently, the raging thunder did not bother her anymore for she had suddenly felt secure, comforted, it did not take her long to fall back to sleep. Neji followed suit not too Long after.

"Sakura." Kakashi started, but was cut short by Sakura.
"It's okay, Sensei. I know. I was being annoying, that was why you had to request Shishiou to get rid of me.." Sakura started but stopped when Kakashi interrupted her.
"No. It's nothing like that.. I am just.. Not ready.. For this.." Kakashi explained, he wa ashamed to admit it but he could not let her in.
"After all we have been through? I thought I saw some improvements? Sensei, are you not ready for this or do you not want to do this?" Sakura asked him quietly.
Kakashi kept quiet, Sakura was smart after all, she must have realised the reason behind it all.
"Great. First it was Sasuke who blocked me out of his life now you.. I am a jinx aren't I?" Sakura laughed mirthlessly.
Kakashi stared at her with his lone visible eye, he clenched his hands into fists as it trembled.
"No. You are far from it." Kakashi replied.
"Really now? Then why are you running away from this? It feels like you are running away from me.." Sakura started quietly.
"Sakura." Kakashi started, he did not really know how to continue, but he needed to stop her from being upset with him, "It's not you, it's me. I am the horrible person. I am the one who does not deserve this treatment. I don't want to... be the cause of you getting hurt.."
Sakura laughed mirthlessly, she looked at Kakashi straight in The Eye before she exclaimed, "Both of us know that's a lie. Look, I am not an idiot, I know you are doing this so we won't jeopardise the Mission. I will cooperate. Don't do this. I am pretty sure Neji was the one who asked you to speak to me, this is unlike you."
Kakashi bit his lower lip, things were taking a horrible turn between the two of them. Kakashi wanted nothing more than to make the mission a success but if they continued behaving as such, the entire mission would be ruined even before it started.
"Let's pretend the dispute never happened for now. We will settle it like grown-ups when we are back in Konoha, as of now, you and I will work through the Mission perfectly." Sakura said as she sighed out loud, she pushed the button of her night light and exclaimed, "Good Night Sensei."

Kakashi was having one of the best sleep he had since yesterday, when he felt and odd presence in his room. His ninja intuition kicked in as he sniffed and tried to decipher who his perpetrator was- it was not anyone he knew. His perpetrator was swift, it went straight towards Sakura's sleeping form. Without much of a flinch, Kakashi stood right in front of the said perpetrator.
"My..My..My... What do we have here?" Kakashi mused.
The perpetrator gasp before he aimed a kick towards Kakashi's abdomen but was intercepted by Kakashi's swift arm block. Kakashi did a roundhouse kick aimed towards the perpetrator's face before the said man was smashed hard against the wall with a loud groan.
Sakura was having the most amazing dream ever, she had just baked the most edible lasagne. Sai and Naruto were complimenting her food before Sasuke and Kakashi decided to try as well, they were about to try it out before Sakura woke up from a loud crash.
"Who.. Dares.. to.. disturb... my... slumber..." Sakura's low voice growled menacingly which caught Kakashi off guard too. He had never heard Sakura used that inhuman voice before-she must be really pissed.
Both men gulped before the perpetrator decided to make a run for it. He was stopped in an instant by Sakura whom had bolted right out of her bed and thumped his head hard. The man let out a loud yelp before he was rendered unconscious.
Kakashi sweat dropped before he turned on the lights and checked the man's pockets for any form of identification. Kakashi opened up his wallet to only find out that this man was a professional and paid,
"Stripper. This guy is a male stripper... I believe he was supposed to surprise his client but.. the idiot got the wrong room." Kakashi exclaimed in a slight amused tone.
"S-strip-p.." Sakura stammered incoherently. She had never heard of such a profession. Once realisation hit her, she scowled menacingly. She should have just added more chakra into her punch earlier and knock the stripper into a coma.
"Stripper. Yes." Kakashi repeated patiently, "We have got another set of problems though. Look at the state of the room."
Sakura turned to see a dent on the flimsy wall, the dresser was smashed into pieces while the window that the stripper had entered from looked like it might collapse in 3..2..1, it had officially collapsed as the sound of shattered glass made Sakura and Kakashi flinch.
"We are going to run and leave this pervert here right?" Sakura asked Kakashi wearily.
"But of course child. Let's wake our comrades up as well shall we?" Kakashi suggested as they sprinted out of their room and without bothering to even knock, Kakashi slammed open Tenten and Neji's door.
Sakura heard gasps before she witness Kakashi blushed slightly, his face though, had a knowing look. A look that should be visible only on a child who had found something worthwhile. Intrigued, Sakura walked towards Tenten and Neji's room just in time to find a less than pristine looking Neji who was shifting himself away from the same bed that had Tenten on it.
"They even share a bed together? What kind of 'friend' does this?!" Sakura thought inwardly.
"Do I want to know what the two of you were doing last night?" Kakashi mused wickedly, he would not let it slide, much to Neji's dismay.
"Sleeping." Neji snapped, "What the hell do you want..." Neji's voice trailed off as soon as he activated his byakugan and saw the mess that Kakashi and Sakura had made in their room. Neji sighed as he looked from Sakura to Kakashi before he exclaimed, "We are making a run for it aren't we?"
