"Fishing." Kakashi stated simply before he continued, "It was essential for me to survive for I had little income left after my father passed on. But it was therapeutic in ways I could not even understand."Sakura smiled as she asked what were the kind of fish he had managed to catch over the years, which were the easiest to catch and so forth. They started a simple conversation of his childhood which however was pertinent to Sakura's research. Unbeknownst to Kakashi, Sakura had managed to penetrate through the concrete wall that Kakashi had built over the years. She might possibly be the one who could crumble it down, brick by brick.
"..it was hard growing up without a Father. I learnt that the hard way." Kakashi said quietly, the intensity of the conversation was getting slightly overwhelming, but he found himself unable to stop. He realised it felt good to let it out of his chest and without him realising, they had been chatting for a good 3 hours.
"Do you miss him.. Sensei?" Sakura asked him gently, as she scrubbed the stubborn stain at the base of the sauce pot.
Silence.
Sakura noticed the tension and she decided to break it, "I miss Sasuke at times. Despite the fact that he left the village, betrayed us, joined a psycho..."
Kakashi flinched at the very memory, he was Sasuke's Teacher and even he could not stop his student from going rogue. What kind of crappy teacher was he, seriously?
"..but he repented eventually. Sure he still acts all cold towards me, hardly returns back to Konoha, but I have forgiven him.. " Sakura started, this earned her a confused look from the copy-nin next to her.
"Even after all he had done to you? He tried to kill you before.." Kakashi started but was interrupted by Sakura.
"Yes. Forgiveness doesn't mean you shouldn't have any more feelings towards the whole ordeal but rather, accepting the reality of what had happened and finding a way to live in a state of resolution with it." Sakura exclaimed wisely.
Kakashi went silent again, he was deep in his thoughts. He did not even recall turning himself in as he walked quietly back to his room, spread out the futon on his bedroom floor and removed his shirt before he laid down. He slept as soon as his head hit the pillow and he fell into a deep sleep.

Kakashi was drowning in water, even in his sleepy stupor, he realised what was happening and quickly pumped chakra onto his entire body and he slowly felt his entire body being lifted up from the depth of the lake all the way to the surface. He breathed in a considerable amount of air before he sat up on water and scanned his environment.
"Where the heck am I?" Kakashi asked himself.
He was in a beautiful ocean, the lake looked magical, glistening in the bright light of the moon, an enchanting silver-coloured ocean that seemed to sparkle endlessly. The sky itself was a rare colour, gentle pink and orange hues of ombré.
Kakashi saw a small island straight ahead and walked slowly towards it. Just as soon as he reached it he saw the silhouette of a man on a small boat drifting slowly towards the island. It was an eerie sight, the boat seemed to travel on its own as it's only passenger stood quite stiffly on it.As the boat neared the island, Kakashi realised that this man looked familiar, lazy obsidian eyes, a gentle smile, messy silver hair..
"Tou-San?" Kakashi's eyes widened at the sight of his late father.
Sakumo nodded with a gentle smile and got off the boat to join him. They sat down on the ground, facing the eastern side of the ocean.
"How have you been, son?" Sakumo asked Kakashi gently.
