He wanted to rebuild his clan and since Sakura was the only woman whom had been patiently waiting for him, he could not help but took pity on her. He realised, why not? Since she was more than a willing participant despite all of the horrible things that he had done to her. But it seems that all of his wrongdoings were taking a toll on her. She might have just found someone new.
As those thoughts crept into his mind, he heard Kakashi exclaimed distinctively towards Sakura that he would be putting out the trash. Sasuke smirked when he felt a sudden presence behind him, seconds after Kakashi made his announcement.
"I really thought, you lot have gotten over stalking me by this time. I guess not. Still dying to see what lies under this mask?" Kakashi's voice asked out lazily behind Sasuke's form.
Sasuke ignored Kakashi's question altogether and turned swiftly to face his ex-sensei, "What's going on between you two?"
Kakashi who was leaning against the bark of the old oak tree with his face buried in his favourite orange book replied, "We are on an important mission.." Kakashi started before he was rudely interrupted by Sasuke's monotonous voice.
"Bullshit." Sasuke said out, "Don't give me that bullshit, Kakashi. You can fool her and the world of your intentions but not me, even with my sharingan deactivated I can still see it."
Kakashi had now used his right hand to shut his book in one fluid motion as he looked at his ex-student's face, "What do you see? An innocent sharing session between an ex-teacher and his ex-student? Or between a medic and her patient?"
Sasuke sneered, "Come off it, old man. Cut the act. Does your mission require you to cook dinner for her?"
"She requested me to do so." Kakashi replied firmly.
"Yeah..? What about lunch then?" Sasuke debated.
Silence.
Sasuke smirked when Kakashi did not provide a comeback for that.
"Was it a part of your mission's requirement to have an extremely close contact with her? You were practically making love to her with your eyes sensei." Sasuke mocked his ex-sensei before him.
Kakashi shifted on his foot as he cocked his head to the side. He was stumped and he never got stumped by anyone. But for that day, Sasuke was totally frying him.
"Are you jealous, Sasuke? Is this what it's all about?" Kakashi asked him calmly. "You should not instill that kind of feeling inside of you, for when this mission ends, Sakura and I will be back to normal. Back into our old regimented schedules.."
Sasuke shoved Kakashi against the bark of the tree, his sharingan began to activate wildly, "This..Is..Not..About..Me.." Sasuke growled lowly against Kakashi's earlobe, he jabbed two fingers against Kakashi's chest as he continued, "You are emotionally attached to her, your former student. And you are not even serious about that. You plan to leave her once the damn mission is over.." Sasuke paused when the figure before him turned into a puff of smoke and gave out a loud grunt as a sudden force tackled him down. Sasuke had been confronting Kakashi's shadow clone the entire time. He was now pummeled by the throat to the ground by an angry and very real Kakashi.
"You. The person who left her. Who once had every intention of killing her, do not have any right whatsoever to justify my actions. I would never hurt her. Ever. Get that into your thick skull. She had always been waiting for you despite the number of crap you dropped on her. Now leave. You are getting in the way of my therapy session." Kakashi ordered as he roughly let the lone Uchihaa go and stalked back swiftly towards his apartment.
