Omniscient

With nothing to do, Dellen went to the game hall for entertainment. Capri had to have the most uninteresting campus life of a college student. She didn't have any friends or hobbies. He felt sorry for her. Everyone who he'd normally chop it up with walked passed him as if he was invisible. Dellen's never felt more alone.

The second he walked into the game room, all eyes were on him. Every man in the room gawked at Dellen and his level of uncomfortableness skyrocketed. Bad enough, he was walking around with furry slippers on his painted toes. Now, all of the homies were eye-raping him.

"What y'all looking at?" He asked, tooting his lips up.

"Yo sexy ass, shawty," Byron spoke, licking his lips seductively. "Let me get that number."

"You need to get some ChapStick for them brittle ass lips sitting on that revolting mask you call a face. Fuck outta here." Dellen snapped, offended He gave less of a damn that he was in a woman's body. It didn't take away from the disrespect he felt being flirted with by another man. A friend at that.

"Fuck you bitch. You ain't all that anyway." Byron retorted. He was embarrassed to be singled out in front of everyone.

Dellen had the perfect comeback for that response but it was too feminine and a piece of his manhood would disappear, so he gave Bryon the middle finger and left out the way he'd come. He wasn't gonna sit there with a bunch of hormonal niggas trying to sleep with him. Today would be the day Capri caught a charge.

"The fuck I'm gone do?" He said, scanning the campus ground for any activities that'd cure his boredom. He saw two of Capri's sorority sisters staring at him from across the field. They weren't normal stares either. They were "I can't stand this bitch" stares. Feeling the pettiness creeping in, Dellen trudged over to where they were standing. "Can I help you with something?"

"What?" Lyric spat with attitude.

"Oh," Dellen held his chest and laughed. "I thought y'all wanted my attention with how hard y'all was looking at me."

"Girl, bye. Ain't nobody worried about your goofball ass. Carry on." The second girl with the moose mouth waved him off with an eye roll.

"Well, I couldn't tell. You were burning holes in the side of my face, so I was wondering if we had a problem?"

"Capri, I don't know what done got into you, but you should stop while you ahead. I'm giving you the chance to save yourself because I know you ain't a fighter." Moose mouth threatened. "I'm always with the shit. Everybody around here knows how I get down.

"I don't know. Let me find out." Dellen continued. Sadly, he was enjoying this little weak-ass confrontation. He was positive Capri doesn't stand up for herself against these girls, so he's doing her a favor by getting her some respect and recognition. Not to mention this is the most amusing interaction he's had since making it back home.

"She ain't worth it, Tasha. Spare her this one time." Lyric pulled her friend by her arm. "I'm saving your life, Murphy. It won't be a next time."

"Nah, you saving her life, but say less. I'll see y'all hoes at home." With a look of disgust, dumb and dumber started their journey in the opposite direction, but Dellen felt the need to throw one more jab to seal the deal. "Yo, Lyric!"

"What, Murphy?" Turning around, she looked at him with furrowed brows, waiting for him to speak.

"Tell Jahad, to clean up y'all shit after y'all get done fucking. Shit is trifling sis!"

"You fucking my man, Lyric!" Tasha snatched away from a speechless and frighten Lyric. "I knew he was cheating on me, but I didn't know it was with my friend. You bitch!"
