5. Gained a friend

Momo had checked into Lotte City Hotel Myeongdong, Seoul. This hotel had special reservations made by Im Seojun, Momo's cousin Hirota Tadashi's father-in-law to-be, for all the wedding guests from Japan to stay. All the guests including Momo's family would arrive in 4 days.

'Four days to breathe freely before I see the evil step mother and the evil twin again,' Momo thought.

'Rei, I'm going to sleep today. Don't disturb me. Get a tour guide for tomorrow. Let's go sightseeing tomorrow,' she instructed the bodyguard and went to sleep.

Hours later.

'WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP FOR DINNER? IT'S SO LATE NOW,' Momo scolded her Rei.

'But you told me not to disturb you, Miss,' he timidly answered.

'SO WHAT? YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN IS MY DINNER TIME. DO YOU WANT TO STARVE ME? NOW GO ORDER ME FOOD,' she yelled. After scolding Rei she walked out of Rei's room, which was adjacent to hers.

An uncomfortable scene met her eyes as soon as she opened the door. A couple was making out in a heated manner. The guy was pinned against the door opposite to Momo's room. The girl was kissing and grinding on the guy in urgency and the latter had grabbed girl's ass. Momo shook her head.

'I guess someone couldn't wait to get into the room,' she thought as she entered the room. She flopped down on her bed and stared at the ceiling. She thought that the guy outside kissing seemed familiar.

'I'm sure I have seem him somewhere. But where?' she thought.

The next day, after breakfast her tour guide Kang Johnny took her to Gyeongbokgung Palace. She explored the National Palace Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum. She also witnessed the Royal guard changing ceremony which took part at Gwanghwamun Gate, the entrance of Gyeongbokgung Palace where the king ruled the country.

And she spent the rest of the evening shopping in Myeongdong. Rei became her personal human-shopping-cart. Once she got separated from Rei and was lost between shops. Rei thought she was looking at the lipsticks and he was amusing himself looking at a shopkeeper trying to figure out if it was a man or woman. He didn't notice Momo leave the shop. The latter thought Rei was following her but nope. She found no Rei when she turned back. She immediately called him.

'WHERE ARE YOU?' she yelled as soon as Rei picked up her call.

'I'm so sorry miss! I didn't notice when you left. I'll be right there,' he said panicky.

'I'm in this shop with...' she was about to describe the shop she was in but Rei cut the call. She glared at her phone with an annoyed expression as if the phone was Rei himself. She was about to call him again but he came running to her before she could do that.

'How did you find me so soon?' she asked in surprise.

'Your phone itself is a tracking device. Chairman Hirai modified it himself before your departure from Japan. See? This red dot shows the location of your phone. It's always visible in the security office in Japan as long as your phone is on,' he explained and showed the screen of his phone to Momo. She nodded as she absorbed the piece of information.

'Thank you, Rei. Next time when I run away I will be sure to leave my phone behind,' she thought.

As for the night, she visited the hotel's bar. She ordered Rei to stay at least 3 meters away from her and ordered a vodka for herself. She was sipping her drink and wondering if she will ever meet Yoo Jeongyeon again when a guy took the seat on her left.

'A pink lady cocktail for the pretty lady over here who loves pink and a Pernod Ricard for me with ice,' he said to the bartender. Momo looked at him and he smiled at her.
