Every morning before school you'd stop down by your local record shop just to see him.
"You really like it here. Huh?" He'd question, a small laugh escaping his lips.
You'd just smile at him and nod. You had learned many things about Patrick since you had found out he worked there.
He was 19 almost 20 and in a local band called Fall Out Boy. He graduated 2 years ago from the same high school you were currently going to.
You were a senior, ready to break loose from high school and hopefully get a job next to Patrick at the record store.
Patrick had the prettiest blue eyes and caramel hair. You couldn't help but to stop in before school to see him.
In fact, you had just opened the door, the bell ringing and Patrick peaking around the corner to see you.
He grinned and ran to you, throwing a travel mug into your hands.
"Well, hi Patrick!" You greeted.
Patrick's face had gone a bit red. "Hello Y/N."
You looked down at the chrome, blue travel mug in your hands.
"What's this?" You cocked your head to the side and looked up at him.
"Oh, um, that's coffee. I'd figure you'd want some. You always tell me how tired you are." He avoided your eyes and his hands were folded behind his back.
You enjoyed the sight in front of you. His blue jeans were just a tad too long and went under the heels of his converse. Patrick was wearing a blue t-shirt with the words "STEREO" written across his chest. His hat was down a little too far making it hard to see his face completely, but you could still make out his pretty pink lips and nose.
"Thank you 'Trick. I appreciate it." You reached up and pulled his hat up so you could see his face. His bright blue eyes meeting yours.
"Y-You're welcome Y/N." He paused, looking out the big glass store front. "It's so nice out today." He mumbled.
You turned around to look out. "It really is lovely. Do you like spring?"
"I love it!" Patrick exclaimed, moving forward to stand next to you.
You looked back up at Patrick. "You got the time?"
He glanced down at his watch. "A quarter 'til 8."
"I have to go." You sighed softly and side hugged him. "Thanks for the coffee. I'll be back to give you your cup after school."
"Anytime Y/N." Patrick smiled at you before you started to walk away. "Bye! Have a good day!"
"You too Patrick!"
*Time Skip*
You had a bad day at school. You were looking forward to seeing Patrick all day to give him his cup back.
The cup of coffee he had gave you was perfectly made, and you wanted him to know how much you appreciated and loved his kind gesture.
You drove to the record store, parking right next to Patrick's car.
Patrick was listening to The Clash when you walked in.
You smiled, the smell of old records entering your nose.
Patrick wasn't to be found.
You glanced around. There must have been some record donations considering the fact that stacks of unsorted records laying in different places.
