I woke up to the sound of Britney Spears blaring through the speakers. I turned over on the bed, managing to bang my head on the backboard. I looked around only to find that Phil had left the room. His guitar case was also missing but I thought nothing of it. And of course he had to leave the music on and leave the door wide open, ugg. I dragged myself out of bed and slammed the door shut, not consciously noticing that I had locked it out of habit afterwards. I went over to the speakers that Phil left on the side of the bed, after fiddling with them for a while, I finally managed to turn them off. Ugg, why did he have to blast his music so loud? I went and slipped some shoes on and grabbed my phone and my wallet. Life on campus was so boring this time of day so I decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood. I quickly remembered I needed to grab my school ID, knowing that everything around here was cheaper if you had one.

Once I got off campus I began to wander down Main Street, walking past a bunch of small stores, restaurants, pubs, and suspicious alleyways. I decided to stop into one of the generic pubs and get a drink. Even though almost everyone on campus was underage they still let you into most bars. If they didn't serve most of us college kids, they would go out of business, Considering our neighborhood was mostly elders, young college kids and high schoolers living in the old apartments, since they were very old and in a cheap and quiet neighborhood.

I sat down on the bar stool and ordered a glass of whiskey. A tall girl with brown and blonde hair and hazel, came up to me and offered to buy me a drink. I declined, not wanting to be too wasted in the morning and I had a girlfriend and didn't want to lead her on. She poked me in the shoulder and asked me again if I wanted a drink. I said no a little bit louder thinking she hadn't heard over the loud music and conversation in the building. Then she waved her hand in the air, calling the bartender over to her and ordered two shots of tequila and slid one across the table to me. This girl was starting to become quite creepy. I scooted down two seats in the hopes that she would leave me alone. Instead she followed me, at this point I felt very uncomfortable.

Trying to be subtle, I slipped a 5 pound note onto the counter to tip the bartender and slipped out the nearby entrance back onto the busy street. I was still worried this girl following me, I didn't even know her name! I decided it was best to walk around a few blocks in the other direction to throw her off, just in case she was following me.
