2- apprentice

Moonkit tried to smooth her chest fur down "Got to look presentable." She thought. In a few moments a clan meeting would be called and she, her sister Onekit, and their den mates stormkit and foxkit would become apprentices. Willowtail cleaned foxkit as Onekit and Stormkit talked about who would be their mentors. Moonkit looked at her mother "Can i go out now? I promise i wont get dirty!" The grey queen looked at her scepticly "You promise?" The little kit nodded excitedly and ran out the den. The crisp leaf fall air softly blew a few leaves around the green clearing. Most of the clan had already emerged into the setting sun light to share tounges. Moonkit ran over to the old tree where the elders sat. Sparkpaw and Bluepaw, two apprentices, sat gossiping with them. "Sharptooth! Whitepelt! " the kit nuzzled the elders happily. The old red tom, sharptooth, smiled "Hello young one! Ready for the ceremony?" Moonkit excitedly shuffled her paws "Yes!" Whitepelt chuckled "Your usually calm as a sleeping mouse! The anticipation has gotten to you hasnt it?" The silver kit nodded "And the nervousness." A loud yowl came from the tall stone "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join me on this night!" Moonkit beamed and ran to the rock. Sparkpaw and her den mates sat next to her. Lionstar called from the top rock "Cats of thunder clan. Tonight brings many changes and beginnings to our home. Ashpelt and blacktail. Please come forward." Two senior warriors, a brown tom and grey she cat, stood below the rock. "You two have served our clan since Quailstar left to starclan many moons ago. Our clan thanks you and welcome you into the elders den." The two bowed there heads, thanking their leader, and joined the elders. "And as Oaktail was the deputy, i must choose a new cat." Lionstar looked at the clan "Bearclaw." The large tom stood, shock in his eyes. "By the powers of star clan i anounce you as the new deputy in their precense." Lionstar smiled. The cats cheered as Bearclaw stepped forward "Ill do my best for the clan lionstar." The tom joined lionstar and leader spoke again "And finaly. Onekit, Foxkit, Stormkit, Moonkit, and Rowanpaw." The kits and dark red apprentice came forward. "Wasptail. You are Rowanpaw's mentor. Is she ready?" A black tom noded to his leader. "Then by the powers of star clan i rename tou rowanpaw. As Rowanfang! May star clan honor your bravery and skill." The red she cat beemed as the clan called her new name. The ceremony continued. Foxpaw gained Sparrowwing for a mentor. Stormpaw recived Talltree. And Onepaw recived Nightpelt. Then lionstar came to moonkit and looked into the clan then at his deputy "I know you just became deputy. But your one of my best warriors. Bearclaw you, " lionstar looked at moonkit "Shall be MoonPaw's mentor." The brown tom touched noses with the small kit "Im honored lionstar."
