10- new freinds and broke hearts

Slowly dens began to form around the new camp. A large nursery in the hollowed oak was furnised with soft moss, ferns, and grass. Moonlight had been busy most of the day with Featherpaw and two she cats, trying to clean up and make the space fit for queens and kits. The two she cats were freindly twords moonlight. Addertail, a quiet and strong shadow clan, spoke in short sentances with a strange accent. Featherpaw, being curious asked about her voice. "I vwas once kittypet. My twolegs and i lived in snowplace before coming 'ere. Every one talk like dis in old home." Featherpaw kept the she cat busy with questions while Honeyfern, a cream wind clan cat gathered more moss & talked with moonlight. Wind clan had been nervouse about uniting with the others. "The elders had asked questions like 'what if another cat like that', um, that. Oh, i cant remember her name!" Honeyfern pawed the moss, thinking "That mad she cat from moons ago." "Frostheart." Moonlight looked down "My mother." The cream she cat's eyes widend "Oh. Im sorry. Forget i said any thing."

As the day went on, the cats took a break to hunt and share tounges. Moonlight had caught a starling and sat with Featherpaw and Goldenleaf who shot Sparkheart, whom she sat flank to flank with, glares who returned the looks. Their talking was minimal until Goldenleaf asked Moonlight "So. Any lucky toms snach you yet?" Both moonlight and Sparkheart choked on their food. He had the nerve to ask with Sparkheart infront of him! She nervously looked from tom to tom, each looking at her and waiting. Star clan why now?! She screamed in her head. Sparkheart spoke up "Moonlight has said that sh-" "Yes." The tom's eyes widend as moonlight interupted. Goldenleaf looked at her expectantly "You do?!" The silver she cat nodded "Yes." She nuzzled Sparkheart "Sparkheart is my mate." Goldenleaf's jaw dropped as Sparkheart gave him a smug look. Glaring the tom stood "I see. Ill leave you two then." Moonlight tried to stand but Sparkheart shook his head "Leave him. He may need some time."
