13- Frostheart

At sunrise, the news of the soon to be queen spred through the camp. As cats gathered to leave, every cat congratulated her and Sparkheart, who puffed his chest out proudly. Even lionstar smiled happily at the two as the clan slowly exited the camp, for the last time. As the journey continued, a mix of shadow clan and wind clan cats joined the clan. Addertail was among them. The dark she cat joined her freinds side, smiling. As they reached the peak of the hill that led down to the camp, thunder clapped above, making a few cats jump. "Into the camp! Elders, kits, and queens first! Welcome home Earth clan!" The cats filed in but, moonlight paused & gasped "Goldenfeather is gone!" Lionstar looked around quickly "He is! Moonlight get another cat to go search with you! You know his scent best!" Moonlight nodded and looked around. Both onetail and Sparheart had helped the others into camp. "Ill help." Addertail nudged her "lets go."

Rain started pouring and all scents were lost after hours of searching. "Moonlight! Vwe are vay past clan borders by now!" A rain soaked Addertail looked around "Vwe need to rest. I know an abandond two leg nest, near here!" Moonlight desperatly looked around and sighed in defeat "Pray to star clan, my fathers ok."

The inside of the nest was dusty, but dry. Old pelts lay abandon in corners of the den. Adderfang built a comfy nest from a few for herself, giving moonlight and old 'cat bed' she'd found. As they settled in Moonlight asked how Addertail knew of this place. "This was old home before i was 'Addertail '. That was anya's bed." She sighed "Now sleep. Hopefully we find your father in ze morning."

That night, moonlight was taken to the forest in her dreams and again, Frostheart appeared "Fool! You chose the path of weakness!" She hissed "You wouldve been powerful with Goldenleaf! Your kits would be stronger!" Moonlight stood unfazed "I love Sparkheart. Goldenleaf just wasnt the path i wanted. I did love him though." Her mother cackled "Your a fool! And fools must be punished." She smiled evily "I, by the powers of the dark forest, give you 3 moons of punishment. Enjoy, my daughter."
Moonlight shot up, shaking in the bed. The nest next to her was empty. "Addertail?!" She looked around, panicked. "Over here!" The dark she cat stood at a window on her hind legs, her eyes bright woth shock. Moonlight padded over and looked out side. She gasped. A powder white snow several tail lengths deep covered the ground. The rain had turned to snow. "Leaf bare. Its 2 moons early!" Addertail whispered. "Three moons of punishment." Moonlight said quietly. "The cold of a villian's heart."
