Epilogue: Rose

SEVEN YEARS LATER

Cas and Dean sat in their apartment on the couch, both looking at the front door every two seconds. Cas sat hunched over with his fingers intertwined on his lap and his leg shook. Dean put his hand on Cas's back and smiled. The only time Dean ever saw Cas so nervous was two years before on their wedding day just before Gab put his arm around Cas's to walk him down the aisle. Dean stood behind him that day with Bobby on one side and Ellen on the other. They both were going to give him away and Gab was going to give Cas away because Michael didn't approve. Cas was worried something would go terribly wrong but the opposite happened when both Luc and Michael came to the wedding. Neither of them even knew how Luc found out about the wedding, or got in, but neither cared.

Dean hugged Cas and told him "Calm down, nothing is gonna go wrong and I'm sure Rose will love it here." Rose was the name of the four year old girl that they decided to adopt. Cas had been running around like a maniac trying to get everything perfect for her. Today was the day that a social worker would be coming to drop Rose off.

"I hope so. What if she doesn't like her room, or the school she's going to go to, or... or us?"

"Relax a bit Angel Face, everything will be fine. And if she doesn't like her room, we'll change it. If she doesn't like her school we'll pull her out, if we put her in public school we'll save $800 a year. And I don't think it is possible not to like you. You are amazing, and fun, and funny, and-" Dean was cut off by a knock at the door.

"That must be her" Dean said nervously as he stood up and faced the door

"I thought their was nothing to worry about" Cas said mockingly as they moved towards the door

"Shut up" Dean said before opening the door

"Hi, nice to see you two again, this little girl here is your new daughter, Rose." said the woman with a British accent at the door with a little blonde girl who was clutching a stuffed doll tightly.

"Hello again Ms. Hooper" Cas said before crouching down to look Rose in the eye "Hi Rose, I'm Cas and this man here is Dean" Cas said pointing to Dean who was standing behind Cas, smiling at his husband and new daughter "We've been wanting to meet you for so very long. We're excited to have you live here with us. Do you want to see your new room?" Cas asked smiling widely the entire time. Rose nodded excitedly. Cas stood up straight and offered his hand to the little girl

"Let me show you it then" he said. Rose took his hand and Cas guided her to her room. Dean took her bag and toys and followed Cas and Rose with Ms. Hooper following him. Rose was excited at the sight of her new room. It had a twin size bed with a white head board and pink designs, large pink dresser, pink walls, and a shelf full of toys and books. Rose ran into the room and yelled "I love pink!" in her own British accent before jumping on the bed, still holding her doll which was a . Cas and Dean stood in the doorframe smiling and giggling then Dean whispered in Cas's ear "Well she likes her room"

This caused Cas to laugh out loud and Dean kissed his cheek.

"Well" said Ms. Hooper from behind Dean and Cas "I'll be leaving know, but I will check up on you quite a few times"

"Of course, it was a pleaser to meet you Ms. Hooper" Cas said turning to face her while Dean continued to stare at Rose while she took toys off the shelf

"Now you signed all the papers, have her medical information..." Ms. Hopper said from the door

"Yes, thank you for everything Ms. Hooper" Cas said "Maybe the three of us could have dinner. Once all the check ups and such are all done of course"

"I would enjoy that very much, thank you. And just so you know, my name's Molly"

"We'll see you soon Molly" Dean said as she left.

Dean and Cas spent the entire day playing with Rose and reading he books and they even watched a Disney movie too. When it was time to go to bed, Cas tucked Rose in and said goodnight but Rose said "Wait! I need Mickey!"

"Mickey? Who's Mickey" Cas asked

"My doll, the one I brought here" Rose said with slight annoyance in her little British voice

"Here, I got Rickey" Dean said as he handed Rose the doll

"It's Mickey!" Rose said with anger and annoyance in her voice. Cas laughed and Dean said "Sorry, Mickey" as he chuckled "Now you better get some rest Princess. You gotta big day tomorrow"

"What are we doin tomorrow?"

"You're gonna meet the whole family"

"Really?" Rose said, now very excited

"Yah, now goodnight Princess, we'll see you in the morning" Dean said before kissing her head and leaving the room with Cas.

The next day in the afternoon everyone came over to meet Rose. When Sam came over with Jess, Rose was afraid of him because he was so big, but she warmed up to him fairly quickly. She even started calling him "Uncle Moose". When Bobby and Ellen arrived Bobby said to Rose "Hey there I'm B-"

"This is Grandpa and Grandma" Dean interrupted smiling at the people who raised him. Who truly were his parents. Ellen smiled and so did Bobby, which was somewhat rare. Rose instantly fell in love with her Uncle Gab, who showed her magic tricks and told her jokes. She met everyone, Bobby, Ellen, Sam, Gab, Jess, Michael, Jo, and even Luc, and she loved all of them. After dinner Sam said he had an announcement to make.

"Hey everyone, today we are here to celebrate a new member of the family and, not to steal little Rose's spotlight but, I want to add another member. One who is smart and beautiful and funny and just amazing. Jess" Sam said as he turned to her, got down on one knee, pulled out and box and continues "Will you do me the honor of marrying me?" He opened the box to reveal a large ring with gorgeous diamonds in the silver that ring was made from. Jess was speechless, crying tears of joy, all she could do was nod her head and breath the words "Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes"

Sam popped up and hugged her and kissed her and finally, put the ring on her finger. Everyone cheered and congratulated them.

Towards the end of the night, after Rose was sent to bed, Sam walked up to Dean and said "So Dean, for my wedding I'll need a Best Man"

"Yah" Dean said slowly nodding his head in agreement

"I was thinking about asking Gab to do-"

"What the hell man?" Dean yelled at his brother

"Relax, I was just joking. Dean Winchester" Sam got down on one knee and held Dean's hands "Will you make me the happiest guy in the universe and be my best man?"

"Of course I will, Bitch"

"Jerk" Sam said as he stood up and hugged his brother
