THREE MONTHS LATER

Dean's baseball team had made it all the way to the championship this year and the big game was on Friday, only three days away. The coach had them doing a three hour practice everyday until the game. Dean would, instead of driving straight home, pick up Cas then drove back to his house where the two of them would talk and watch movies and snuggle and kiss in Dean's room. Cas would only leave to be with Dean when Michael was at work and Cas tried his best to get home before Michael. Michael and Cas rarely talked since the night Michael found out about Cas and Dean's relationship and Cas and Michael's relationship had never been so weak. But Dean and Cas's relationship was strong and beautiful but also a secret and even though he would never say so, Cas hated that and Dean was aware of Cas's sorrow about this and hated it. Dean hatched a secret plan to reveal to the whole school that they were dating.

On Thursday Dean told Cas he had to do something and they wouldn't be able to be with him that night. That "something" was sing at Ellen's diner and probably take a few orders but even though Dean loved Cas he wanted his little haven to remain a secret just between him, his family, Benny, Benny's girlfriend, who's name was Andrea, Pam, and a small hand full of Bobby's friends and older gentlemen.

Cas decided to take a walk around town since he had his schedule cleared to be with Dean. While Cas walked he saw Dean's Impala parked outside a diner that was called Ellen's Eatery. Cas figured this must have been Dean's adoptive mother's diner and Dean was working so he went in expecting to see Dean waiting on tables when instead he saw Dean in the back of the diner with a mic in front of him and a girl who sat with two other people at a table right in front of Dean said "Sing a Warrant song!" loudly

"Okay, Okay" Dean said laughing while scrolling on an iPod. Cas walked over to the bar and sat down on a cushioned stool and Ellen appeared on the other side if the bar and said "How'd you find this place?"

"I saw the Impala outside and I knew you owned a diner so I thought I'd pop in and say 'hi'. How did I not know Dean sings?" Cas said looking over his shoulder at Dean who was now singing Blind Faith by Warrant

"Not a lot of people do. This room is basically everyone who knows" Ellen said scanning her diner as people tapped their fingers and nodded their heads to the beat of the song

"Hey Ma, everything okay?" said a girl in an apron

"Yah, why don't you get some more cake from the fridge" Ellen said, waving the girl away. Ellen then turned back to Cas and said said "Do yah want something Cas?"

"Oh sure, could I get a cup of coffee, cream, two sugar?" Cas asked politely

"Of course yah can" Ellen said before leaving to make the coffee. A tall boy came over, leaned on the bar next to Cas and said "What the hell are you doing here? How did you even find 'here'?" It was Sam "Those people in the front are Dean's best friends and if you look at Dean that way you do-"

"What is wrong with the way I look at him?" Cas asked defensively "I just look at him"

"You guys have fucking eye sex every time you look at each other and if those guys see that we'll have some problems to deal with"

"Like what?"

"For starters Benny might beat you up, your relationship could leak out if they know about it, Pam will try to claw your eyes out-"

"I get it, I'll have my coffee and be on my way. What are you doing here?"

"Working" Sam said as he held up an pad and pen. Then Sam left to help a few gentlemen in a booth. A moment later the song ended and Cas got his coffee. Cas applauded Dean like everyone else did. There was a brief moment when Dean and Cas made eye contact but Cas turned around immediately and toke a sip of his coffee. Dean sat down next to Cas and ordered a coffee for himself and told Ellen "You know my order but take your time" then when Ellen left, Dean said to Cas "How the hell did you find this place?"

"You are the third person to ask me that since I sat down"

"Well, how did ya?"

"I saw the Impala and I know Ellen owns a diner but I didn't even imagine I would find you on stage singing"

"Well, now you know my secret... What's yours?"

"What?" Cas said surprised

"Come on, everyone has a secret. What's yours?"

"I-I don't know"

"Come on, tell me. You gotta have one"

After thinking for a second Cas said "Luc. My brother Luc had a massive fight with Michael after my father left and Luc left and we never saw him again and that was about two years ago. Luc's birthday is actually in four days. Sorry that wasn't relevant at all I was just thinking out loud"

"Oh" Dean said not sure of what else to say "So" he said trying to change the subject "if your brother tortures you, you can't tell him I sing"

"What's wrong with you singing?" Cas asked confused

"It's my secret okay? The only reason Benny, Andrea, and Pam know is because they forced it out of me"

"Fine, but you have to sing me a song"

"What?"

"You don't need to announce it's for me but get up there and sing a song for me"

"Your unbelievable" Dean said as he walked towards the microphone. When he got up there he said "Hey everyone, I got a request for another song so here ya go" after a brief moment Cherry Pie by Warrant started playing and Dean started singing. Cas watched Dean as he stood there with his eyes closed as he sang. Cas got a few looks from Benny and Pam. Cas did his best not to look at Cas the way Sam said he did. After the song ended Dean walked up to the bar, grabbed his coffee, turned to Cas and said "There" before walking over to his friends. Cas then finished his coffee and left the diner smiling. Then, out of nowhere, someone grabbed Cas's sleeve. Cas turned around to see Benny.

"What were you doing in there? Why were you staring at Dean?" Benny demanded
