Chapter 6: his sister's keeper

After Rowan and Bellamy had made up as well as had made out for a while before Bellamy insisted that they headed back before they were spotted by the Grounders he was sure was watching them as they headed back to the camp where they mutely and mutually agreed that she would sleep in his tent again after she quickly went to check in with Raven before settling down for the night. While she was away tending to her own sister, Bellamy's thoughts began to wonder to his own who he hadn't seen they had argued in the woods about why he had shot Jaha since he had done it for her protection as he began to wonder where she was as he checked the spot where she usually slept to find empty as he began to panic. He began to look around the camp and in the different tents to find that Octavia wasn't in any of them as he eventually headed back to his own tent where he found Rowan laying down in the makeshift bed 

" hey you sleeping yet?" Bellamy said gently knowing that he needed her right now more than anything since she always had a way of grounding him when he needed which he did now

" yes unfortunately, I can't stop thinking about all those people on the Ark that in danger which I know is pointless" Rowan said sitting up knowing that her biggest flaw was caring too much

" your sister's flares will work, talking about sisters....have you seen Octavia?" Bellamy said coming into the tent as he sat down the bed as she realised that he was clearly anxious

" no not lately but it's Octavia, she's probably chasing butterflies or a new boyfriend. I'm sure she's around here somewhere" she said gently cupping his face hoping to calm his nerves

" I've checked the camp, she's not here" Bellamy said trying not think about all of the possibilities that could be happened to his little sister right now as he focused on finding her

" ok so, I'll help you find her. You go to the drop ship while I'll check the rest of the tents, I promise we will find her" Rowan said kissing him sweetly before putting her boots back on

" thank you... Clarke, have you seen Octavia?" Bellamy said combing out of the tent with Rowan behind him as he spotted Clarke in the camp searching for something frantically

" no but would you believe if I said that's who's looking for her? Apparently no one has in 12 hours" Clarke said looking at Rowan knowing that Bellamy was about to fly off the handle

" if that's true and she left the camp then she could have gotten lost or..." Rowan said knowing that there was only really two really possibilities that could have happened to Octavia out there

" or she's been taken by the Grounders" Clarke said finishing her sentence her as Bellamy began to spring into action as he woke up all of the delinquents in order to form a search party

" Hey! everybody, gather around and grab a weapon. My sister's been out there alone for 12 hours so arm up because we're not coming back without her" Bellamy said to those gathered

" hey do you want me to come with you? You might need me if she's ran into trouble like falling or something Octavia like?" Rowan said to him discreetly hinting towards medical help

" no I need to stay focused on Octavia and if you're out there with me then I'll focused on protecting you" Bellamy said knowing that he couldn't have his focus split like that just now

" ok then I'll stay here and wait for you to come back but I say having a doctor in board might come in useful" Rowan said knowing not to push him in this one right now with all of this going on

" I agree that we need all the people we can get which is why we need a tracker but I can't risk you...Finn, get out here" Bellamy said calling out to where Finn's tent was knowing him and Raven were inside
