Chapter 15: inclement weather

The walk back to the area that the people of the Ark had set up as their camp calling it camp Jaha in honour of the chancellor that had sacrificed so much for them including their lives allowed Rowan time to think everything through as she walked by her father's side since he refused to allow her anywhere near Finn or Bellamy but especially Bellamy as he wondered how far gone their relationship was and how to put an end to it. Once they had arrived to camp Jaha, Abby decided to take both Finn and Raven to the area that had transformed into a medical bay in order to asses the damage done to Raven's back and to treat Finn's injuries while Rowan promised to catch up with them as soon as she could as she followed the guards who were taking Bellamy away as she waited for them to be distracted enough for her to slip into the cell unnoticed as Bellamy tried not to react to this stunt from his girlfriend as he suppressed a smile

" so my father had you arrested? I mean I guess meeting my dad for the first time as my boyfriend could have went worse" Rowan said as she approached Bellamy after the guards had left him alone

" how, how could this have went worse?" Bellamy said smiling at her attempts to make light of their situation right now as she crouched down in front of him so that she could start to treat his face

" I mean he could have shot you when he seen you kiss me" Rowan said knowing that part of the reason how Dad had reacted so badly to him was because he had seen him with his daughter

" that's true... Ro, I can't be in here while our people out there somewhere" Bellamy said in a quiet voice as he thought about how Clarke and Jasper were danger while he sat alone in this cell

" I know which is why we're going to leave the first chance we get okay? As soon as you get out of here, we'll leave and figure out where they are" Rowan said still not convinced on Finn's theory

" you still don't think that the Grounders have them because your friend Hawk? I mean only you would make a friend out of an enemy" Bellamy said picturing an older and uglier version of Lincoln

" he was so sure that his people didn't have them and that these mountain men did but he wouldn't tell me anything about them" Rowan said as she began to clean his cuts from his blood and the mud

" convenient... how's Raven doing? I know you must be worried senseless about her, I know I am when it comes to Octavia" Bellamy said thinking about how they had something very rare in common

" not great, the bullet is in her spine. I'm not sure she'll ever be able to walk again or how much damage has been done.... I don't know, I'm just scared for her" Rowan said in a small voice as she thought about it all

" hey she's tough, much like her baby sister in that retrospect. If anyone can pull through this then it's her and if anyone can save her than it's you. Don't underestimate yourself, I don't" Bellamy said gently kissing her to reassure her

" thank you.... you know the Ark being down here just complicates things more, I mean they actually think they're in charge or that their rules matter down here" Rowan said clearly still raging about them

" I know but- ow that hurts" Bellamy said as she began to clean the wounds that he had suffered while being captured by Tristan and from the fight with the Grounders as she began to laugh at him

" you've done nothing but get into fight after fight down here and this hurts? Don't be such a baby" Rowan said laughing at his reaction to her cleaning his wounds as they turned towards the door after hearing movement

" Open it up.... seriously, Rowan? What are you doing in here? How did you even get in here?" Kane said knowing that this was the reason that he had guards posted outside of the cell
