Chapter 7: contents under pressure

As if Finn being injured as badly as he was and Rowan having to be the one to treat him, the camp was being hit by an incoming storm as Rowan grabbed her medical kit from her tent that she had began to share with Bellamy since they had gotten together before heading to the drop ship where Clarke was waiting for her with Finn who was still groaning in pain while Raven worked so hard to get the radio up and running somthat they could talk to the Ark and to Abby since both Rowan and clarke were going to need help when treating Finn's wound. While some of the delinquents began to prepare the camp for the storm about to hit them as they tried to make their tents and other structures that they had built mor secure as Rowan tried hard not to worry about the storm or how Finn's life seemed to be dependant on her or how Bellamy had went back out into the woods with Jasper to get the grounder that did this to Finn. Rowan decided to place her hair up into a messy bun in order to keep it off her neck while she worked and her leather jacket

"This is Raven Reyes, calling Ark Station. Come in Ark Station. This is Raven Reyes,calling Ark Station...Please come in, please, please...Can anybody hear me?" Raven said through the radio almost begging the Ark to answer

" Are you sure you have the right frequency?" Monty said trying to help a much as he could from an engineers point of view as he wondered maybe something was wrong with the radio

" Yeah, I'm sure. I'm just having a hard time connecting to the Ark" Raven said looking to where Finn was currently laying down groaning in pain as Rowan tried to work out what to do

" Raven? You can do this, okay?" Clarke said trying to be a reassuring voice to calm her down causing Rowan to look up at her sister to see that she was beginning to panic slightly now

" hey Rav, you can do this. You have to do it, for Finn's sake and for mine. We need you" Rowan said knowing exactly what buttons to push to motivate Raven into completing her task

" how is he doing?" Clarke said in a small whispered voice as she walked her to where Finn and Rowan was as she began to look at his wound to assess the damage the knife did

" I'm not going to lie, I really don't like how pale he is right now or the look of that wound. I could really use your mom right about now" Rowan said knowing she needed someone more experienced

" Calling Ark Station. Ark station, please come in. I'm on the ground with the hundred... we need you" raven said adding the last part quietly to the radio praying someone will hear her

" how's the storm?" Rowan said silently wondering if the storm could be interfering with the radio in some way as she looked to the door of the drop ship to see that the storm was picking up

" it's definitely about to hit us and hard, I'm not sure what kind of damage we'll take but we should be ok in here" Clarke said hoping that she was right about being safe in the ship

"Are you there? Please come in.Please... Calling Ark Station... The hundred are alive" Raven said to the radio as more and more of the delinquents began to gather around the radio

" This is a restricted station. Who is this? Please identify yourself" a male voice said suddenly coming through the radio as they all stopped what they were doing to hear the man from the ark

" This is Raven Reyes. I- I'm from Mecha Station and I'm transmitting from the ground. The hundred are alive. Please, you need to get Doctor Abby Griffin. Doctor Abby Griffin" Raven said looking over where Rowan was trying not to show how worried she was about Finn

" hey Raven, it's Sinclair. Just hang on, we're trying to boost your signal. Get her off the Ark-wide channel. This room only. Copy?" Sinclair said through the radio trying to help them
