jack shut off the light and slowly walked towards the bed. he pulled the covers over his body and draped an arm over your waist, pulling you closer to his body. he rubbed small circles on your stomach and pulled you closer.

'good night princess' he whispers before kissing your neck

'good night baby' you say as you lean into his chest, your eyes grew heavier by the minute

you felt his curls brush the top of your head and fell asleep.

the sound of jack's alarm woke you up. you groan as you slowly turn towards the tired boy

he slowly opens his eyes, he stares at you with his soft brown eyes, there's sadness hidden behind them

'today's the day' he says slowly, sadness lacing every word

'i know baby, but it's your job' you respond wrapping your arms around his neck

'i'm gonna miss you so much' he says into your neck

'i know, but these 2 months are gonna go by fast' you reply

'but they're not gonna go by fast enough' he frowns against your skin

'they won't, but enjoy your time in europe. it's a beautiful place so take it in while you're there' you run you hands in his curls

'i will baby, i'll make sure to call you whenever i can' he smiles at your gesture

'ok, i'll be waiting then' you kiss his forehead

you both get up from the warm bed and get changed. today was the day jack left for his europe tour. for the next 2 months he would travel on the other side of the world, venturing in foreign areas. it wouldn't be the longest time the two of you had been apart, but the fact that he was half way across the world made you worried. but it was his job, he was doing the thing he loved, so you supported him all the way.

'you ready?' you called out to jack

'yeah!' he yelled back as he hauled down his large suitcase and backpack

you opened the door for him so he could walk out of the door and to your car. you opened the trunk for him, he laid out his suitcase and backpack in the trunk and shut it. you hopped into the driver's seat. once he got in the car, you turned the key and waited for the car to warm up, shortly after you 2 we're off and on your way to the airport

you and jack talked and sang during your drive to the airport, you enjoyed small moments like these. jack admired you as you danced in your seat, he laughed as you made small faces at him when you were stuck in traffic. somehow jack knew how to turn a sad situation into a happy one. when the two of you arrived, you parked the car and got out to say goodbye to your boyfriend.

'well this is it y/n' he says sadly, pulling out the suitcase and backpack
'well baby, if you ever miss me, always remember the ring i gave you' you say pointing to the ring on his right index finger

'i will' he smiles, cupping your cheek

you lean into his touch, you smile at the curly haired boy and engulf him in a hug

'i love you baby' you say into his chest

'i love you too princess' he kisses your head, his arms rest on your shoulders

'well, see you later alligator' he jokes as he kisses you

'see you later dork' you smile pecking his lips once more before he grabs his stuff and rushes into the airport

he turns and waves to you, you wave back as he sends one of his beautiful smiles. he turns back to the check in line and disappears into the crowd

'see you later alligator' you whisper to yourself as you close the trunk and enter the car
