your eyes slowly flutter open as you stretch out your body. the sun shines through the curtains which illuminates your white room. you grab your phone to check the notifications you've missed. then you notice a message from your boyfriend zach.

follow the notes for a surprise

you jumped out of bed and walked towards your closet where you found a note

'looks like you've found the first note, i've picked out your outfit for today - z'

you take off the note and put on the outfit he picked you. it was a ripped, off white graphic t-shirt, ripped jean shorts and low top vans. next, you headed to the bathroom to wash up. after you were done brushing your teeth, you put your hair up in a messy bun and opened your makeup bag. there you found another note.

'no need to put on any makeup, show off that natural beauty of yours - z'

you giggle at his comment and close the bag and off you went into the kitchen. a nice stack of pancakes topped with maple syrup and a variety of fruits sitting next to it. you approach it to discover yet another note.

'eat up princess, you've got a big day ahead of you - z'

after eating your breakfast, you turn to see a note stuck on the island.

'hope you enjoyed your breakfast, time to hit the road. i have an uber waiting outside, he'll take you to somewhere sweet - z'

you quickly grab your wallet, jacket and phone and run out the door to find the uber. he politely opens the door for you and helps you in. he kindly greets you and drives you to your destination. as the car stops, you peer out to see an ice cream parlor. the one that you and zach had your first date, you then get out if the car and enter the parlor. the ladies at the counter greets you and you pick out your flavors and head to the cashier. as you pull out your wallet, the cashier stops you and gives you a note.

'i've paid for your ice cream, go sit down and enjoy it - z'

you sit by the window and eat your dessert, after a bit you throw away your trash and thank the ladies. the same uber picks you up and drives you to another destination. about 30 minutes later, you arrive at a beach. you thank the driver and get out of the car, as you walk you check your phone. 5:15 pm. What a crazy day it has been, you look down at the shore line and see a trail of petals. you follow the trail and find a note at the end of the path.

'what an adventure it has been, hope you had a good day baby. turn around princess - z'

you turn to see the boys in tuxes, they all approach you and serenade you

'guys you didn't have to do this you know' you smile

'well you only turn y/a once' zach shrugs

'i love you guys so much' you laugh

'yeah we love you too y/n' corbyn chuckles

'aye what about me!' zach exclaims as he throws his hands up

'i love you too you dork' you reply, rolling your eyes

he kisses you and smiles, 'now prepare for next year's surprise'

'oh no' you say as you pull away
