Your vanilla love was the sweetest I had ever tasted,
Sweeter than the freshest honey.
Your smile was that of a lunar daydream,
Soft and enticing.
Your hands were the kindest that had ever touched me,
Not meaning any harm.
6 months later the tables turned...
Your love was the most painful thing that I ever endured,
More painful than the scars on my body.
Your smile was more nightmarish than that of Jeff the Killer,
Menacing and gruesome.
Your hands were the strongest and the most unbearable,
They took away my breath, and my happiness. The scars never went away, but the bruises did. Now I'm left with the memory of you.
