My Hero ||Beauty And The Beast|| (Bakugou X Reader)

Prologue

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young Prince by the name of Bakugou Katsuki lived in a shiny castle

Although he had everything his heart desired, he was a rude, egotistical Prince

But then, one cold winter night, an
an old woman came to the castle and offered him a beautiful red rose in return of shelter from the cold

"Please accept this rose in return of shelter", she begged him.

Bakugou sneered at the gift, "Please, how about giving something better you old wretched hag", disgusted by her appearance, he turned the old woman away

Before he could shut the doors, the woman spoke, "Don't be deceive by appearances for true beauty is found within", she warned

Bakugou only rolled his eyes, "Beauty is found within- Pfft. What a bullshit saying. Now go away before I make you", he punched his hand into the opposite hand's palm, threatening her

Before he knew it, he saw that the rose melted away, revealing a glowing energy that shined, "This glowing thing will grant the user any quirk that it sees in your heart", the old lady said

"Quirks. I heard of this. It's a special ability that only a few people have", Bakugou said curiously. Suddenly an idea popped into the young Prince's head. If he held this power, then he could have control over the world. He'll be even more powerful than any other person.

"Gimme that Old Hag", he snatched the energy ball from the lady. Once he took the energy, it absorbs into him, making his body glow. After a couple seconds, his body stopped glowing and he looked at himself. Before he knew it, he felt explosions coming out his hand. His smile grew to look like an evil smile, his eyes looked power hungry, "This Quirk feels great", he said then looked back at the lady, "What are you still doing here? Go on and leave me be you're not welcome here", and before he shut the door, "Oh and thanks for the powers. Your old, hideous self is useful for something. And that something is making me an all-powerful Prince", he shut the door in the woman's face

The old woman appearance melted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The light was so bright that it shined through the castle doors, catching Bakugou attention.

"I see that you have no beauty or kindness in your heart", she says in disappointment but the tone of her voice was hard to tell, "The energy that was absorbed in you could detect that negative energy and sense that your heart is not pure", Bakugou felt his body feeling different.

His chest felt bulkier, his teeth became sharper. He had paws of a wolf, legs of a wolf, and ears of a wolf. He had light blonde fur grow from his body. He had eyes of a serpent and horns of a dragon (they weren't huge horns but they weren't exactly small either).

"What the fuck did you do", he growled, looking at his appearance

"Your heart was full of cruel and selfish emotions. You only think of yourself and give no consideration to other's feelings. So your new appearance reflects on your personality. A personality of a hideous beast"

Before the enchantress left, she gave him a few pointers, "This magic mirror will be your only window to the outside world", the magic mirror appeared right in front of him

The next object that appeared was a small, red flame in a glass container.

"This energy flame is truly enchanted. It will continue to stay lit until your learn to uplift those negative emotions and also learn to love someone and earn their love in return. If that happens before the flame extinguished, then you'll turn back to normal", she said. "But if not then you shall remain a beast forever. If you do learn to love but don't receive it back then you'll die of a broken heart"

Bakugou tried to blast her but she dodged his attempted attack, "You have until your 23rd birthday which is 6 years from now", after saying that, she disappeared into the night sky, making this Bakugou's last time seeing her.

"That stupid fucking Fairy and her stupid ass enchantments", he furiously threw a table at the paintings of the wall and blew up the paintings of the wall. Eventually, he looked at his vicious self in the mirror and ran away from it, absolutely ashamed at what he became.

As the years passed, Bakugou fell into despair and lost all hope that he'll never learn to love and receive it back.

For who could ever learn to love, a Beast?

Sorry that it was short, this is my first time making a My Hero Academia Book. So as you can tell, it's going to be like Beauty and the Beast but very different. It will have some similar events as the counterpart but its mostly going to be its own story. In this AU, there will be quirks but instead of it being common it's going to be SUPER rare like only a few people have quirks while the majority are quirkless.
