"This map is so confusing", he furrowed his eyebrows in irritation. Kazuo and H/N were traveling aimlessly in the dark mist of the forest. H/N was starting to feel unsteady.

"We should have gotten there by now", Kazuo surveyed the area, "Where the hell are we-"

Before he could finish his sentence, the sounds of howling wolves echoed in the night sky.  H/N started to flip out and bucked back and forth, trying to back away, "Steady H/N! Steady". Kazuo pulled his reins, trying to calm down H/N. He took another look at the map again to find a shortcut. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no shortcut. So you had to take the high road.

"Come on H/N", He pulled his reins over to bring him over. One glance at the path made H/N uneasy. H/N tried to turn back but when Kazuo pulled the reins, it stopped him.

"Stop being a coward and go", the horse calmed down a little but that didn't stop its body from being a little tense

As they got deeper into the forest, it began to get quieter and the darkness grew bigger and bigger.

"Maybe this was a bad idea", Kazuo thought to him. The forest was making him shiver. It set off too many red flags.

"Hey H/N, maybe this was a bad idea", he whispered. The howling of the wolves made H/N more scared and flipped out. He was kicking and thrashing and bucking. Kazuo, unable to control him, fell off him. His back hit the ground. H/N ran off.

"H/N wait", he called for him but it seems like he didn't hear him. He was way too far away. Kazuo stood from the ground and observe his surrounding. His body shivered from the cold.

Silence was in the air. The tension and atmosphere were thick.

He looked over his shoulders to see that a pair of eyes were watching him from the hill and it seemed to be a lot. Emerging from the darkness, they revealed themselves to be wolves. They stared at him in hunger, ready to attack. Their nose's scrunched as they growled.

Without no hesitation, Kazuo ran away from them which only made them chased him. Cutting through the thick bushes of the woods, he tripped over a tree root that was protruding from the ground and his face landed on the ground. The impact was so great that he almost blacked out for a second but quickly regained his vision.  His gaze landed on the gates of a huge castle.

He stood there for a couple seconds in awe, astonished that this was a castle. Why wasn't it mentioned before? For a split second, he almost forgot about the wolves until they howled, bringing him back to his senses.

He scurried behind the gates and shut them closed. The wolves turned back into the darkness, awaiting his return. Kazuo rubbed his head to soothing the bump on his head.

For a second, he looked up at the castle, "Woah", getting an up-close view at it, it a lot bigger. Light thunder, was heard in the sky. He took that as a signal to enter the building.

He sighed to get the jitters from his system and opened the door. The opening of the door made a small creaking noise, "Uh...Hello", his voice echoed in the dark chambers of the building, "Is anybody here?", still no answer.

Kazuo looked around the castle for a bit checking to see if anyone was here. Unbeknownst to him, a pair of eyes were watching him. A pair of inanimate objects

"Do not make a sound", the clock whispered back at candlestick

"Yeah, Yeah I know", the candlestick replied

"Please. I mean no harm, It's just, I lost my horse and I need a place to spend the night at"

"Aw. Iida, the poor man needs our help". He was about to leave to help him but Iida stopped him from continuing
