I walked onto the grass still in awe at the beautiful Silver Shore. It was like a dream.

Calum tossed his arm around my shoulders and stood there for a second as I looked over to him.

"Oh my God Calum! Put a shirt on!" I laughed and slowley backed away. He furrowed his brow and awnsered,

"I didn't have a shirt on at the party and you didn't seem to mind?" he asked while Michael walked inbetween us awnsering for me while tossing him a black t shirt.

"It's public mate, try not to scare any kids with that awful beer belly of yours," he smiled at Calum innocently as Calum stuck his toung out at him.

"Oh and Marie?" Michael looked at me, "My moms name is also Annemarie." he laughed as I smiled at the coincidence.

We walked around for a while and before we knew it, it was noon.

"I'm starving. We need to find a place to eat." Ashton whined making us all laugh.

We decided to stop at a small burger place in the town off to the side of the park. We all squeezed into a booth and waited for someone to take our order.

I sat next to Ashton on one side as the other three boys piled in on the other. I look up from the menu to see Luke's blue eyes tracing over the menu back and fourth. I smiled, noticing how bright his eyes were in this lighting and just about every other one.

Moments later a girl in a uniform walked over to the table while taking out a note pad and pen.

"Hi my names- Luke?" she interrupted her obviously over rehearsed routine.

Luke's looked up from the menu to the girl standing in shock. His blue eyes lit up as he climbed over Calum and Michael to get out of the red booth. He wraped his arms around the girl and pulled her close. She gave him a peck on the check as they started a conversation about who knows what.

Ashton's body turned to face me as he smiled and spoke, "Are they not the cutest couple."

Those six words impacted me greater than I would have ever imagined. I felt this weird let down fealing in the pit of my stomach and as if my throat started to shrink. I tried to ingage myself in my phone to block out the sight of Luke laughing with the girl who looked to be about two or three years older than him.

Luke pulled up a chair to the table as his so called girlfriend sat down and he pushed Calum and Michael over so he could sit at the end. They talked for a while as I awkwardly sat there looking at my twiddling thumbs. Calum noticed me and spoke,

"Hey can I see your phone?" he asked. Without hesitation I handed him my caseless phone with my passward already typed in.

"Text me." he stated blankly and put the phone back into the palm of my hand. I typed in Calum's name and sure enough 'CALUM THE HOTTEST BABE EVER' came up with a large amount of colorful hearts next to it. I laughed and slowly typed hey, almost instantly he texted back.

CALUM THE HOTTEST BABE EVER: Whats wrong ??

Me: nothing lol

CALUM THE HOTTEST BABE EVER: Don't you dare lie you selfish little girl.

I laughed at his comment all though, it was quite true. I was younger than him bye about a year and a half and he deffinetly was taller than me by about five inches maybe less.

Me: im kind of stressed.

CALUM THE HOTTEST BABE EVER: Awh what about? :(

Me: school. :/
