Chapter 5 - A Day at Disney

I hop out of the car with Lydia, Brendan and Evan. Across from us are Mike, Andy and Frank, waiting. 

"Took your time," yells Mike. 

Lydia and I point at Evan and say, "It was his slow Granny driving."

We all crack up laughing. We hand our tickets in at the front entry and get our VIP bands. We all put each others bands on but Lydia and Mike take an extra 30 seconds. They are both standing there looking at each other laughing. They seem close.

Evan leans over to me and whispers "They disappeared together last night and this morning I saw Lydia sneaking out of his room." I smile at Evan as a reply.

We move onto the rides.

Evan can't go on many of the rides but he still looks like he's having fun. I sit in between Andy and Frank on a ride that goes about six stories in the air and then drops. Frank and I were laughing the whole time up because Andy kept fake Italian praying. When the ride dropped Andy and I went from laughing to screaming. Frank looked like he had seen a ghost. The ride had finally reached the bottom and Frank looked like he was about to throw up. Andy and I started laughing again.

We met up with Lydia and Evan after Brendan, Mike, Frank, Andy and I had finished all the rides. Lydia wasn't big on roller coasters so she went to all the different shows with Evan. We went to this 'magical' pizza place to eat and we all shared a jumbo supreme. Lydia and Mike sit next to each other, I look over at Evan, he raises an eyebrow and we both crack up laughing. After lunch we look through all the shops, Mike and Frank buy matching Little Green Men (green aliens from Toy Story) headgear. Andy and Brendan buy matching Alice in Wonderland Cheshire Cat scarfs. Lydia and I get matching Minnie Mouse head bands and Evan gets a pair of Hulk hands. It's around 6:30pm by the time we leave the last shop. Lydia and Frank suggest that we stay and watch the finale show at 7:30pm which is a firework show outside the Disney castle.

We decided to kill some time before going to the night show, so we went to the Walt Disney Museum. It was so cool, it had a TV showing all the first Disney movie and skits. Andy loved the old black and white Mickey Mouse cartoons. It was around 7:15pm once we had walked around the whole museum, so we decided to start walking to the show so we could get a good spot. We were some of the first people there. We got great spot about 20 metres away from the castle so we could see the fireworks well and Brendan and Frank could get some good photos. 

The show had started when all the Disney characters started walking around the front part of the castle. When all of them were out the fireworks started. THEY WERE AMAZING!! All different colours and shades of the rainbow. Half through the fireworks, someone grabbed my hand from behind. I turned around to see Logan grinning while the reflection of the fireworks made his eyes dazzle. I look behind him to see if Chloe was here as well, he noticed. 

"It's just me," he said stilling grinning. "Can we go somewhere to talk?" he asked, slightly yelling over the pops and bangs of the fireworks.

"Yeah, sure," I said trying to hold my anger in. I tapped Andy on the shoulder and said into his ear so he could hear me over the fireworks, "I'm just going with Logan, tell that lot that I'll be back." I laughed pointing to Lydia on Mike's shoulders and Evan on Frank's shoulders. 

"Sure." he laughed in reply.

Logan led me hand in hand out of the crowd, to a clearing. I tried not to look at him as he grabbed my other hand and looked at me straight on. 

"Anna.. look I'm sorry if Chloe being there upset you," he said still trying to catch my eye. "Anna, please look at me." I looked at him straight in the eye hoping if would make him look away but it didn't. "What did I do wrong?" he asks, his eyes on me like a sad puppy. 

"Lydia told me..." I start still looking at him in the eye. "..that I'm not the first girl you've given a daisy to and let stay at your house." He looked at the ground, almost in shame and looked back up, wounded. "Of course I know I don't mean anything to you because you have different girls with you all the time but you mean something to me and like the idiot I am I believed that this could somewhat work" I say, it all spilling out. "You could have at least changed the type of flower." I regretted that as soon as it came out of my mouth, his eyes went round in shock after the last thing I just said. "I'm sorry, I just, I don't know, I guess I'm just disappointed" I finish.

"You have feelings for me? Like real ones?" he says, looking at me, surprised. 

"God, did I not make it obvious enough, of course I..." I was practically yelling now, the fireworks had stopped. But what he did next surprised me, he leant down and kissed me. Not aggressively like I expected but, softly and passionately. We broke away when the crowds started walking towards us.

"Just catch a ride with me," Logan was saying as we stopped at the gates waiting for the others.

"I told Andy that I would meet back up with them," I explained to him. 

"We can meet them back at home," he said almost pleading me.

"I guess I can just text Lydia.." I trail off, still looking around for the group.

"Don't make me get down on my knees and beg Anna!" he said looking at me, dead serious. He started to bend down on one knee.

"Fine, get up, I'll go with you,zd" I said laughing. At the main exit gate there is another stall selling more headgear.

"Wait here" says Logan and quickly runs up to the stand. He comes jogging back with a Mickey Mouse headband with a massive grin plastered across his face.

AS PROMISED ANOTHER CHAPTER FOR TONIGHT, THERE COULD BE ANOTHER JUST DEPENDS HOW LONG I WANT TO MAKE IT OTHERWISE IT WILL BE UP TOMORROW. THANK YOU ALL FOR RETURNING. HOPE YOU ARE ALL ENJOYING THE STORY :))))
