i was in the hospital for a pretty long time. i spent my days and hours reading my wattpad and updating my latest story, In The Light Of Day. then the doc came in for his daily routine. " hi Alexie! " he said. "hello." i replied. "how are you feeling? how's your leg and your head? any headaches?" " ummm... I'm fine, my leg and my head are both fine, and no headaches. " "okay. any problems i should know about? anything?" "when can I go home?" "in two more days. can you hold off until then?" "yes." "okay. now, lets see you use these crutches." he handed me a pair of personalized crutches I had decorated. I held them under my armpits and eased myself onto them and held my injured foot out in front of me. I hobbled around on them and tried not to let my foot touch the floor. the doc nodded. "that's fine. I was going to schedule an appointment for your leg to help you move better, but I can see that you don't need them. you will be able to go home tomorrow. " with that he got up and left. excited I texted Arnie.

ArnieJackson@christine; don't ask questions yet. I gotta go eat dinner. love you, babygirl.
