Alexie's story- Forever Yours

With The Fam!!

I walked into the garage, wearing a pink bathing suit, and a white sarong over my hips. my hair was left down over my behind. everyone was out today. Michael, MacKenzie, and their two older kids were cleaning out Michael's Cadillac escalade.

Daddy, Mama, Seara, Summer, DJ, and a few others were planning for our yard sale in two days. and everyone else was in the front yard playing. arnie was in out garage stall, washing his car.

Sarah ran up to me with her new iPad. "hey Alexie?" she asked. "yeah?" I replied. "do it for the vine." I smiled. "I ain't gon' do it." "do it for the vine." "I aint gon do it." "do it for the vine!" "i aint gon do it!" I ran over to arnie and grabbed the hose from him. I squirted him with the water and he cried out in shock."Alexie! " he groaned. he was only wearing white swim shorts. and he was already wet. "baby. " I scoffed.

Sarah came over, smiling. "I just put the video on YouTube for Do It For The Vine. we already got 20 likes so far. " then her iPad beeped and she looked at it. "oh! and our first message! it says, 'is that red car named 'Christine' from the movie?'" "write back yes. tell that person that we actually have two of them." arnie replied.

Sarah texted that person back. then she said," and another wants to know why you have that brace on, Lex. " Arnie and I looked at each other. "injury." we said at the same time. Sarah nodded and ran off. i sat on my car's hood and sighed. "its really hot out." I said. arnie nodded. "I wonder how hot it would be if we were cars." he wondered. I rolled my eyes. then I got up and walked over to the table nearby, grabbing the keys to Christine and unlocking the driver's door. I slid in and instantly slid back out. "hot. " I replied.

I got up enough courage to get back in and start her up,then I drove her outside and over into the grass. but I had to stop because some of the little kids were in the way. I rolled down the window. "hey guys!" I said." beat it! Christine needs some sunshine. " they hurried up and ran off.

I turned the car around and backed her into the spot where the kids were. then I got out and shut the door, walking around the house and into the backyard. "turn up!" I yelled as I took off my sarong and got on the water slide. then I slid down and into our warm pool. on the deep side. about 10 to 11 feet deep.

a few hours later, daddy called all of us into the front of the house for our daily dance competition. it was nothing special. anyone could come. some kids from around the neighborhood always came. some of the kids from the other houses kind of got freaked out when they saw Christine in the lawn, but they knew she wouldn't do anything. i was chosen to go first. Daddy played "Ride" by SoMo. to prove my point on the song, I stood up on top of Christine's hood and did some contemporary dances.

i sang. then when the song ended, I slid off and bowed to a big applause. then "I like" by Jeremiah came on. we all started to dance. I noticed that Arnie was watching me dance. I moved my way over to him. he took my hand and pulled me to him. "oh yeah." I sang. arnie sang with me. "I like to take the time to love your body rub your body kiss and hug your body. girls say ooh ooh ooh ooh, I like."

then "bed" by j holiday came on. this was daddy and mama's song. us kids all sat down as daddy danced with mama. Michael just HAD to say something. "daddy!" he called. "how many of y'all kids did y'all make from this song?" daddy smirked and called back," about 12." "ewwwwwwww!" we all cried.

Daddy turned to me. "Lex is one of them. " everyone laughed and I hid my face in Arnie's neck from embarrassment. the song ended and t-pain's "I'm sprung" came on. I got up and started dancing. "heyyyyy!" I yelled. everyone burst out laughing. this is the most amazing day I've had since I had my injuries. turning up with the fam!!
