Libby's POV
I don't know what just happened. My heart was beating so fast I was afraid Peter heard it. I almost had my first freaking kiss!

We walked downstairs and outside. I knew Peter could swim, so I was gonna be a little brat and push him in.

He walked close enough to the edge. I grabbed his phone and shoved him in. Everyone started to laugh when Peter got back to surface. I put our phones and towels down. Right when I did, there was a pair of arms that grabbed my waist, picking me up and running towards the pool, jumping in.

While underwater, I turned around to see Peter. He pulled me to the surface. I flung my arms around him.

"Peter, I can't swim!"

"Hahahaha I know. That's why I jumped in with you."

Smart boyfriend I've got here. One that I almost kissed just a few minutes ago.

He brought me to the four foot area, when I could touch, I got off and splashed a huge wave of water at him. And that got everyone splashing everyone.

When it calmed down, i went to the edge and jumped up, sitting on it with my legs still in the water. Peter joined me a few minutes later.

"You okay?" I asked him.

"Yeah. I just, Im not excited about next week."

"Yeah. Neither am I."

"So, What are you doing? Are you staying home or going to school?"

"I didn't get the grades I wanted this year so I guess this is my time to make up for those grades."

"That's smart."

"But hey, at least we get to go to Europe in two days."

"Yeah. That's cool."

Everyone was playing around in the pool. It was a nice view. And a nice day. And I was sitting next to a nice guy. Even though he was more than nice.

Music was playing. I way swaying to this music. Perfect by Ed Sheeran was on. Peter laced his fingers between mine. I looked up at him and saw that he was grinning. That made me chuckle. We looked back out. A few people had gone out and were talking together. It had gotten close dark by the time everyone was out. Peter and i had moved to the deep end of the pool so that Peter can dive in every once in a while. I would dunk myself, getting back up and sitting on the ledge.

Peter had jumped in the pool for a second. He swam to the bottom and all the sudden, it looked like he was shooting up in the water.

A tight rope was placed over my neck. They backed up and I stood up. They were blocking off my airways. I couldn't breathe.  I got my fingers under the cord and brought it over my head. But in a few movements, the guy had wrapped my arms in this painful cord.

"Peter! Dad!" I yelled.

Someone taped my mouth shut and pulled a hood over my head. I was fighting as much as I could to give Peter or dad or someone time to get me. But it was no use. They picked me up and didn't get phased by me moving around.

But the guy holding me put something under my nose that I had to smell to pass out. And I did. I hope that I don't end up with them and someone will find me. I hate being the damsel in distress.
