"what a cute little sparrow" I mumbled to myself while mesmerizing the pattern on the sparrow's feather. We live in a nature filled area surrounded by the chirps of birds during the day, the sounds of crickets during the night and the wonderful little pollution free atmosphere, well not so free just not as suffocating as the cities sheesh. I should paint this little sparrow, thank the nature for inspiring me. I personally love painting and creating something. It is just that little things I do to express my feelings.

I was having a hip moment with how it felt so damn relaxing surrounded by these plants and animals until I was rudely interrupted by a honk. Welcome industrial revolution.

"What are you doing Heat? Get in the car already" Cody scolded with a grin etched on his face. "I purposely missed my morning boost just so I could get Starbuck's and I'm getting real cranky here" He pushes on. "Comingg! " I bellowed to him and hopped into his slick black Corolla. "Finally" Cody sighed in a spanish accent. I giggled and turned on the radio. Starbuck we cominggg.

We arrived at the grand Starbuck in just 5 minutes away from my house. I can literally smell the freshly ground Arabic coffee beans you guys. "Hey Cody, wha- CODY?" in a matter of seconds he is off to the counter ordering his cup of joe. "Hold up!" I half screamed and skidded my way to his side at the counter. "Order up!" The barista yelled.

"Better be quick with that grandma mouth of yours, we got 30 minutes of daylight to education in darkness" Cody snickered just finishing his Americano. "Excuse you, these are luscious lips by the way and school is a 15 to 20 minutes max away from here, chill your man pacs aight?" I continued sipping on my Latte. It's a quarter left of liquid my Lord. He rolled his eyes in a funny way and went out to start up his car engine in the parking lot. "Wait up horse shoe!" I babbled and hurriedly hop into his baby or else like last time, he teased me by driving away from me when I attempted to get into his car and stopping to trip me over. Not going to happen today.

In you go. I threw my empty Starbuck cup into the trash can at the corner of my school's entrance. "Did you throw away your cup Cod?" I asked. "Yup while you were sipping on your drink like a grandma" He laughed with an amused expression. I pout for a moment before giving him a good punch to the shoulder. "OUCH HEAT!" He bellowed rubbing his shoulder and not caring if any of the students were looking at him. I gave him a hearty laugh, "that's what you get for calling me a grandma Cody" I winked. He puts on a disgusted face and immediately composed himself when he looked behind me.

Lemme guess, Marsha Michael. I turned to confirm my guess. And guess what, I was right! Cody have this major crush on my girl best friend since the seventh grade. I mean I knew all along until he told me out of the blue while three of us were having hot chocolate last winter. That time Marsha was headed to the loo. Marsha rarely goes out with us because she is constantly worried about her studies and keeping up her spotless grade As. That's why it has been me and Cody just hanging out. To make things more spicy, Marsha confessed to me that she have a crush on Cody when she first met him as Cody and I were beginning to be friends. I'm sensing an awkward tension between them now.

"Hey Marshy" I greeted her with a smile and went in for a hug. "H-hi Marsha" Cody voiced while scratching behind his head. "Hi Cody" Marsha replied with a sweet smile. Did I mention that Marsha is a very sweet girl? Even her voice is sweet! I accidentally let out a giggle when they were having a staring moment with each other. Cody lightly groan in annoyance at me. Sorry! Marsha giggled at our goofy exchanges.

The bell rang and the crowd of student bodies begin to rush to their class. Marsha, Cody and I got separate class so we say our "see you at lunch!" And off we went. Before entering my class, I felt a pair eyes staring lasers at me. I turned to look at who but the hallway are still filled with rushing students. I brush it off and enter my class.
