"We're here!" Tony finally parked the car after 15 minutes of me being smashed by 3 gigantic men. Gresham immediately opened the side door and we spilled out like baked beans. "I can breathe!" Hillary screamed out. He was seated next to me. "Damn, I was sweating like a cow back there." Klark fanned himself with his wallet. "You okay back there?" Gresham asked me, "Yea, I'm fine" I smiled half heartedly. I think my right arm is dead.Ring! Ring! Ring! "Cody?" I picked my phone up. "Where you at Heat? We're at the entrance now" He said excitedly over the phone, "Oh! I've just arrived, stay there! I'll be there in a minute" I told him in mutual excitement over the phone before hanging up. "C'mon guys! Let's head to the entrance and get our tickets already!" I marched towards the sign saying 'Fun Fair Entrance!' with clowns and people enjoying the rides and games painted onto the board like a mural.
The boys shrugged and followed me to the entrance. "Mars! Cod!" I screamed out their names and ran towards them, hugging them in the process. "You've made it!" Cody exclaimed, "wouldn't miss it" I wink nauseously at him. Cody made the finger to his throat motion in response. "Still nauseating" Cody stated. Marsha giggles quietly beside Cody, "I got us all tickets while you both were talking" She informed us both softly. I barely realized that she was gone from our group, damn she is as quiet as a mouse. Noticing how close Marsha stood beside Cody. I immediately fangirl. I smell an upcoming love story. Distracting Marsha with little talks about which ride would we go first, I managed to nudge Cody at the torso without Marsha noticing. "Let's get tokens then" I wrapped my arm around Marsha's shoulders then I turn slightly to the back overlooking Cody, I wiggled my eyebrow suggestively at him and caught him rolling his eyes at me while grinning.
Marsha gave the security guarding the Fun Fair Entrance all three tickets and pointed to both me and Cody. The security guard nodded and we're in. The exciting and that feeling that pumps adrenaline into your system filled the atmosphere and also the smell of freshly popped popcorns from the nearby popcorn stand to my left, fluffy cotton candy on skewers stabbed on a pole and all different kinds of treats along the side! Almost forgotten about the boys, I unwrapped my arm from Marsha's shoulders and spotted them, still lining up for their tickets. "Thanks for the ride! See you when I see you in here!" I yelled while waving my arms up to the sky to catch their attention. They all responded with thumbs ups.
I was pulled by the smell of smoked caramel coming from the popcorn stand when Cody pulled me away from the mouth watering goodness, I'll be back my tiny popped children covered caramel! Well I'm not surprised how incredibly hungry I get after an hour or two from a big meal, metabolisms right?. "Hold on there eating machine, we gotta get tokens first" Cody stated like an adult. I pouted, still staring at the popcorn stand. Those tiny popped corns spilled out from the small pan with lid on the top side of the stand like it's hot with caramel already covering their soft crunching skin. "Besides, we don't want to puke all over the place after we ride those huge scary machines." Marsha reasoned. Hmm I guess she's right. Always save the best for last, and to me, the star of the show is those treats I'm dreaming while being dragged to the token booth by Cody.
The three of us combined our share and bought 27 tokens. 9 each for the three of us to ride 3 different rides which means, 3 tokens for each ride. There's 10 rides all together. It might be a little but it's more than enough to make Cody pee in his pants. "Which one first?" I voiced after a minute of scanning all the rides. "Obviously the biggest one" Marsha waited at the end of the long line formed from that ride excitedly. "A-a-are you sure Marsha?" Cody stammered while hesitantly joined the line behind Marsha. Before anyone could stand behind Cody, I went in for the kill and pat myself on the shoulder for getting the spot behind Cody from a little boy just around 10 years old eating halfway through his blue coloured cotton candy already. I smirked at him and whispered, "You're gonna puke after this" He pulled out a blue coloured tongue to me. I was bewildered with his behavior, "we'll see who's right" I flipped my hair when I turned around to face Cody's back.
"You don't have to ride it if you're scared" Marsha held his hand, comforting him. Kababoom. It's the ultimate start of this love story. Barely containing my excitement, I did a tiny dance behind Cody and ended it with a kiss to my index finger and landed it on my hip with a "tss" sound. "Heat?" Marsha called, I immediately composed myself and faced her, "yea?" I answered. " Umm this ride needs a pair to ride in with" Marsha informed me softly, not holding Cody's hand anymore. "It does?" I looked over the ride and noticed that there's two seats together in a row. I pouted and turned around to find a partner. Marsha and Cody is going together so it's just me and.. Bingo! the boys are currently waiting on the same line for the same ride I'll be riding.
"I got it" I assured both Marsha and Cody. I walked over to where Jake and his friends are currently standing. And noticed that they were odd numbers too. "Who don't have a partner yet?" I chimed.
