"Today's lasagna taste more horrible than last week's cheese burger" Cody complained and spits out his lunch bits. "Hah I've told you like a billion times that none of those specials taste any good Cod" I snickered at him savoring my chocolate pudding. Marsha just grin from ear to ear listening to our conversation. "Whatchu got today there Marsha?" Cody asked. "Um just a salad for today" Marsha replied with a sweet smile. "you're so healthy Marsha" Cody complimented with a goofy smile etched on his face. You can see how red Cody's ear right now! I nudged him at the rib and looked away. Cody immediately stood upright and rub his red ear. He knew I nudged him as a signal that he's going code red.

I laughed at his reaction when suddenly I heard a growl from somewhere. I instantly got goosebumps. I turned around to find the source. Did someone let an animal in? Because humans can never naturally growl like that, it sounds so animalistic. "You okay there Heather?" Marsha asked worriedly. I grin and assure Marsha that I'm alright and I thought I heard something weird just now. "Must be Mrs. Jefferson saying Heatherr, hand in your assignmenntt" Cody joked with a ghastly sound. I just laughed then stood up. "Mrs. Jefferson's assignment! I completely forgot! I gotta go guys" I picked up my things and ran to the school's library with Marsha and Cody laughing behind me.

"So then it's like this?" I stammered. "Ssssssshh" Mrs. Gloria shushed. I mouth 'I'm sorry' before focusing on my assignment. I raked my brain for the next line but failed. So I got up from my seat to find some books in the shelves relating to my assignment. "Opps!" I whispered when I accidentally dropped a book. Before it lands on the carpet, a hand grabbed it. A strong muscular arm extended to hand me the book I've dropped. I raise my eyes to see who is it and met with an inviting orbs looking at me with adoration. Adoration? Before I could study this god's features, he grabbed my hand to take the book he's been waiting for me to take and walked away quickly. "Wait!" I called out and met with a "SSSHHH" by Mrs. Gloria. I frown and held the book to my chest. Who is that smexy god? When he grabbed my hand, I felt this amazing sparks running throughout my body. I sighed, "that's the last I'm ever going to see him again" I whispered to myself and walked towards my table. RINGGG. History is next. I packed my things and went out of the library.

"Cody!" I yelled as I caught up with him. "Where's Marsha?" I asked. "She went home early remember?" He answered. Oh right. "Anyway you going home?" I added. "I don't know" He smirked,"I was thinking about pizza for dinner" He looked at me. "Let's go!" I dragged him to his Corolla. He laughed and went in. Just as we started to move, a bike drove across us. Cody panicked and hit his brake resulting in both of us to almost hit against the front panel. Cody honked at the biker. "Idiot!" He hoarsed. I calm him down by joining in with him insulting the biker. "You alright there Heat?" He asked in a concerned voice. "Better than ever" I grinned, "let's go let off some steam by the Pizzaria" I huffed. "I agree" Cody start driving. This time he's being really careful by constantly looking left and right for any vehicle that's going to drove across us again.

I giggled and saw the biker parked at the side. Just as I wanted to alarm Cody that I found the biker, I stopped myself when I'm met with a pair of familiar eyes staring through my soul. I couldn't see his whole face because he was wearing a black biker helmet. It was him that drove across us. But why?
