Act VII : Night Out

I cannot believe what she just told me. I was stunned by her action and words. She had really changed a lot ever since.

"What do you mean drop the act?" I snapped. She just sighed in a mocking way, "you heard me?" She said, "stop acting like your life is perfect and whatnot when it's really not. I know you Heather. Just seeing you smiling and happy annoys the crap out of me" She hissed so hard she sprayed some of her saliva on my face. Say it not spray it. "Wow Ellicia, I didn't know I cause such disturbance to you" I said sarcastically, "and can we please wrap ur up? You are clearly wasting my time" I smiled mockingly. God my head is throbbing and my whole body is heating up, literally.

Ellicia scowled and hit the wall behind me. Woah there! She needs some self control, I just stood there unfazed by her action. "When I said we're done, we're done" She hissed, our face just inches away from each other. I've never seen this part of her. She is always the girl that would crack up a joke about random stuff and start an adventure with our arm intertwine. It was Ellicia and Heather versus the world. Our separation really changed her. I thought sadly.

The school bell rang and I got Literature coming. Oh my the partner assignment! I can't leave Ivan alone doing the assignment! And Mrs. Crawford will my damnation if I come in late. I groaned in annoyance. I look up to her eye to eye, dead serious. "Ellicia Tamarine, If you've got nothing as important as the end of the world to say then I suggest you to drop this conversation because I am going to late for my class and I'm not letting this" I waved my finger at the gap between the both of us, "interfere with my academic achievement." I demanded. I walked over her and hurried to my class when she decides to grab my shoulder to stop me. "I am not done yet!" She whines. That's it. I bitch slap the heck of her, "Stay away from me" I growled then proceeded to my class as fast as I could. I took a quick look at my wrist watch, 11.25 A.M. Mrs. Crawford won't be there in 5 minutes.

I entered the classroom just in time before Mrs. Crawford enter and search the space for Ivan. After spotting him in seconds I immediately took a seat beside him. I blow out a long sighed of relieve and gulp a few times from my aluminum water bottle. "Were you in a rush?" Ivan smiled with his perfectly white teeth. I flash him one of my sweet smile, "no shit" I laughed and put away my water bottle. Ivan is one of the athletes our school took pride on because well thanks to them our school received a lot of awards related sports. Ivan is on the track and field team. I must say he is a majestic fit stallion. "Heather?" He snapped his finger a few times to wake me out of my thoughts of when he was training shirtless the other day and smiled at me after he spotted me staring at him. I blushed. " The stress might be getting to me" I laughed trying to cover myself. "Well let's get started" I smiled while taking out the notes for our assignment. The end of his plump lips twitched a smile, amused.

I stretched both my arms out, "so exhausted" I yawned for like the hundredth times. "Hey!" Cody
strangles me with his big hairy arm.
My breath hitched, he caught me by surprise. "Codyy" I whined in annoyance. He let go to take a look at me, "what? I missed you. You disappeared with Elli-shit during lunchtime" He explained, "don't call her that" I looked down with sadness. "We saw you" Marsha joined us. They saw me? When? When Ellicia and I were talking? "When?" I asked softly, "when you and Ellicia were.. " Marsha blushed from embarrassment. "We were worried, so we followed you" Cody backed Marsha up. I sighed, they must've know what went down then. "It's nothing guys, we were just catching up" I smiled weakly to them. Cody was going to say something when Marsha placed her hand on his shoulder to be quiet.

"Cheer up Heat" Marsha's soft voice soothes. "We're going out tonight, today is my freedom day. Wanna come?" Marsha invites me. I smiled ear to ear back to her. Marsha rarely goes out. Her freedom day is once a month. I mean, that rare. "Would I!" I screamed in excitement and hugged her tightly. "Well? Let's get going! Marsha's curfew is in 8 o'clock!" Cody chimed. Both me and Marsha hurriedly enters Cody's car excitedly.
How would my life be without them?

Hi guys! I've just attended my English Oral Test today 😪 it was nerve wrecking 😫 but overall it was fantastic because of the friends I've just made and the amazing examiners 😇
