"This is the best waffle I've ever tasted in my entire life" I moaned while stuffing the delicious goodness into my mouth. "Anything taste the best when you're hungry, Heat" Cody snickered in amusement. "I have to go to the ladies room alright?" Marsha squeaked. Both me and Cody replied our alright's to Marsha as she speed walk towards the cafe's toilet. "Won't be long" Marsha squeaked louder towards us.
"So.." Cody trailed excitedly, "So?" I raised one of my eyebrow questionly at him, where is he getting at? He rolled his eyes like I've missed something important. "The Summer Dance on this end of the month!" Cody bewildered. OH RIGHT THE DANCE! "And?" I further questioned him. "Well.." He trailed again, "I'm thinking of asking little Marsha to the dance." He finished off with a bright smile. I instantly squealed in delight. My longtime ship mates since the day i knew they got hots on each other, unfortunately i didn't tell any of them that one has a crush on the other one. It have to be a surprise! One big romantic dilemma. As a best friend to noth of them, all i can do is encourage each one of them to do what they want to gain one's affection. So if Cody wanted to take Marsha on a dance, why the hell not?
"Go for it mate" I waved him off in a 'obviously' motion. "Really? Wouldn't Marsha be weirded out that someone close to her like her cool best friend, me, and not some ridiculously handsome jock, stranger/women boner, asks her to the dance?" Cody questioned himself worriedly. I sighed and tsk-ed at him a couple times. "Don't sweat it Cod, besides a person she don't know personally makes her uncomfortable" I gave Cody the 'ok' finger gesture. "Oh and she's heading here in 2 minutes" I pat Cody on the shoulder. Cody's eyes went wide open and he fumbled a bit before retracting to himself, acting nauseously cool.
"What did i miss?" Marsha took her seat next to me and Cody. "Eh" I shrugged, "We were talking about the upcoming dance this end of the month" I continued. "Ah" Marsha perked up, "say, about the dance.." I trailed, "aren't you with the Student Council deciding on the theme?" I wiggled my eyebrows towards her. "Well.." She looked the other way thinking hard on something, "I'll just give you guys a hint on the theme we've decided." She giggles in a naughty way. Someone's feeling rebellious. I like.
"The hint is beach" Marsha wiggles her eyebrows knowingly. "Thanks babe" I winked at her, "now I know what to wear for The Dance" I stretched my arm towards the back. Marsha laughed in respond. Cody on the other hand looked like he's thinking super hard about something. Assuming what he had in mind, I nudge him at his feet below the table. He gave me the "whachu want" look before I raised my eyebrows and signal him with my brown filled blue flakes pupils towards Marsha a couple of times. I accidentally let out a giggle when Cody gave me "I'M NOT READY" look. I smirked and did what I should to give him a little push.
"Oh no" I fake gasped, "my little brother is having his migraine attacks" I continued to fake gasped and add a hand covered mouth act. Cody looked so annoyed. Im wheezing with laughter in the inside. "Is he okay?" Marsha asked with concern, "not for long Marshie, unfortunately I might have to cancel this brunch" I fake upset. "C'mon Heat, how bout the Fun Fair? We're supposed to go together" Cody furrowed his eyebrows together and send me the "I know what you're doing, it's not gonna happen" look. I smirked and responded his look with a "try me" look. Marsha looked adorably clueless between our stares.
"Don't worry Cod, I'll the plan is still on" I rolled my eyes towards him, "I'll meet you guys there when I'm done dealing with my brother" I assured Cody with an evil grin. "Sounds good Heat" Marsha encouraged me, "see you at the Fun Fair" Marsha waved at me with a sweet smile. Cody looked defeated. Heat 1-0 Cody. "yea Heat, you better be there" Cody squinted his eyes at me. I gave them both a tiny hug before requesting for Uber. Cody better man up and asked her out or else my effort to get them alone will be in vain.
