"Heather A?" the uber driver chants while driving up to the entrance of the cafe. Upon hearing the username I put up on my Uber app account, I searched the Uber Driver plate number and immediately wave my arm up to grab his attention. After a few second he noticed me and pull up next to me. "Are you Heather A?" He asked me, " That's me" I answered. The uber driver is a man in dark coloured clothing with a mask covering parts of his mouth and a heavily black tinted pair of glasses. Weird...
I hopped into his car at the back seat in silent. "Where are we heading miss?" The uber driver asked in a deep husky tone. he sounds awfully familiar. without realizing how much time I spended thinking about his voice, leaving his question unanswered, he coughed loudly to catch my attention.
"Oh! Sorry about that" I apologized and proceeded to tell him where I needed to be. It was a short ride to my house, quiet and short. "Is this the right place?" the Uber Driver asked, "this is it" I answered lazily. Before he can tell me the amount of money I needed to pay, I searched through my purse for the 5 dollars I had left and gave it to him. "Thanks! Keep the change!" I yelled out while stepping out of the car. Little did I know, I really had to pay 4 dollars and 64 cents.
The Uber Driver didn't say anything after that and proceeded to drive off after I shut the door to his black BMW. Mysterious.. After all the Uber Drivers I've encountered, all are super friendly except this one. Well I'll give him a 4 stars then.
I entered the house like usual, and as usual, Jake and his friends are over in the weekends playing video games. I creeped silently past them quickly and up the stairs until I managed to enter my room successfully without all the boys noticing. Ping! Cody?
Cod : The Fun Fair at 7 o'clock.
I checked the time on my Iphone 7. 5.35 P.M.
Me : aight. See you both there.
Shutting my phone off and tossing it on the bed, together with my things. I stripped all the way before entering the shower.
45 minutes passed. I got out of the amazingly relaxing hot shower with the aromatic lavender coming off of me. I took a glanced towards my digital clock. 6.21 P.M. I still got time to prep my skin, put on makeup and pick a suitable outfit to the fun fair. I wouldn't want to wear a dress when I'm being flown up in the sky and not shorts either because I don't want to show the rest of the world my massive thighs. So.. I'll definitely settle on my navy blue with sky blue flower pattern, spaghetti string, flowy jumpsuit and a washed off cropped denim jacket. Complete with a natural look.
With only 50 minutes left on the clock. I went downstairs to grab a snack. Maybe a peanut butter toast or two? Jake and his friends seemed to be going somewhere. Munching on my second toast while scrolling through social media, Gresham came up to me with his sweet dimpled smile. "Hey Heat" He greeted me shyly, "Hi Gres" I greeted back, holding back my giggles from his adorable shyness. "We didn't see you come in, I was surprised to found you in the kitchen but Jake assured me that you sometimes let yourself in the house quietly" He spoke while scratching the back of his head. "Yea well I didn't want to disturb your gaming party back then" I told him with a smile. "Hmm" He was thinking hard about what I said, "true true" He finally agrees.
"Well the boys and I are heading to the Fun Fair, you wanna come?" He asked me shyly. I swear if he show his shyness any more I might faint from his cuteness. Did I mention he looks really cute when he's shy? Oh right! The fun fair! hmm might as well hitch a ride with them rather than wasting money to take an Uber ride there. "Why not, I needed to meet a couple of friends there anyway" I agreed to join them on this voyage to Le Fun Fair. "Great! Let's go then" He unconsciously draped his hand over me, pushing me slightly towards their ride.
I noticed that Tony is by the steering wheel, looks like he's driving us there then. Jake is at the passenger seat while 2 more of his friends are at the back, plus 2 more which is me and Gresham? We are literally sandwiched together at the back. Little me in squeezed tightly in the middle between 3 bulky men. Jake on the other hand, didn't mind me joining because he knew I'm also going there. "Sit tight guys, because we're starting to roll" Tony chimed.
I hope we get there soon because my arm is starting to go dead.
