That's Alyssa on the side

____________________________________________________________

I normally dream about my mom and random stuff from when I was younger. Tonight was different though. I dreamt about the day Kylie died.

I could feel the wind blowing through my long dark hair as leaves danced through the grass. It was warm out. Warmer then usual. It felt nice. I saw Kylie standing 20 feet away from me as a sprinted towards the ball. I kicked it with lots of force. I saw the ball fly through the air before it hit Kylie in the side of the head sending her flying back into a tree. She was still. I ran towards her yelling her name over and over again. There was no response. "What's with all the yelling?" I heard Alyssa asked. That's when she saw Kylie lying on the ground, unconscious. She ran towards us before checking Kylie's breathing. It was very slow and light. Alyssa quickly wiped her cellphone out of her pocket and dialed 9-1-1.

She waited before rushing into the house. I could hear her yelling at the operator before hanging up. The ambulance arrived 20 minutes later. 2 very tall men stepped out of the ambulance. They opened up the back of the ambulance before pulling out a stretcher. They slowly and carefully lifted Kylie, who was now barely breathing, onto the stretcher and into the back of the ambulance. Alyssa asked if we could go with her but the man with lots of scars on his hands, said no. Alyssa yelled at him before he jumped into the driver's seat and drove off towards the hospital. Alyssa quickly grabbed my arm and dragged me towards the car. I was in shock. I couldn't believe what had just happened.

When we were both in the car and on our way to the hospital, Alyssa asked me what happened. I explained the whole situation to her. "It's going to be okay." She said as she rested hand on my lap. She looked over at me and smiled. Ben, our older brother, was stayingwith us until dad came home. So he was driving.

We arrived at the hospital 15 minutes later to find nurses rushing around. Alyssa stopped and asked several nursed where Kylie was before one pointed down the hall. Kylie was in room 345. There was nothing special about the number but for some reason it just stoke to my brain. As we entered the room we were quickly told to leave by a impatient doctor with a worried look on his face. I looked around the hallway until I spotted the waiting room. We waited for about an hour before the same doctor came out. "I'm sorry to inform you bu-" I burst into tears.

Alyssa didn't even shed a tear. She stood up and gracefully walked towards room 345. The doctor tried to escort her out but she refused to leave before seeing Kylie. She didn't want to believe that Kylie was dead. You could tell by the look in her eyes. She shoved by the doctor making him almost drop his clip board. He turned around and was about to tell Alyssa to get out when I walked in. The doctor called 1 of the nurses over and told her to watch us. She walked over to the bed and introduced herself. "Hi. I'm nurse Mona". She extended her arm towards us" I grabbed her hand and shook it. "Hi. I'm Desi and this is Alyssa. That's Ben." "Nice to meet you" She said. " I'm sorry but I'm going to have to ask you 3 to leave."

"Are you blind!?" Alyssa shouted before turning around to face Mona. "Excuse me?" Mona said. "It looks like your deaf too." "Please leave" Mona said calmly like she had gone through this hundreds of times before. "I'm not leaving Kylie." Alyssa said before sitting down next to the lifeless body, that once belonged to Kylie Young. "I'm sorry but you must leave" The nurse said again. "Did you not hear me?" Alyssa sounded hysterical now. "Patrick!" I heard Mona yell. A few moments later, a tall buff looking man walked into the room. "Please escort these 3 back to their car." Said Mona, before walking out the door and down the hallway.

Alyssa screamed at the top of her lugs when Patrick touched her. He was only trying to help her up but Alyssa acted like he was trying to murder her or something. As Patrick reached down to help me up, Alyssa kicked him and ran towards the bed where Kylie's lifeless body laid. She was trying to pick Kylie up before Patrick grabbed a hold of her and picked her up. She was kicking, punching and screaming as Patrick escorted her out. The last time Alyssa acted like this was when mom died.

The last thing I remember before walking up was seeing the tears in Alyssa's eyes as Patrick carried her to the car.
