Dear Diary,
I know it's been a while since I told my story, Mark and I had successfully left Mars and returned back home to earth. Mark has retired from being an astronaut, and I don't blame him what we went through up there is probably one of the most traumatising thing we will both ever experience I can't imagine going through it alone. Mark has decided to teach today's youth; the next generation of Ares crew about Mars. Now I know your probably wondering why I'm getting up too and I'm glad you asked. I'm now commander of the next mission to Mars alongside the new crew.
"Your crazy for wanting to go back" mark would tell me trying to talk me out of it but he couldn't. My heart belonged to two things in this world and that was Mark Wattney and the planet herself, Mars.
I think Mark plans on proposing to me, we've been officially dating for a year now. His been acting all strange and giddy, maybe it's because his worried about me going to mars or maybe there's more too it. I don't know.
But until then, this is Commander Dakota Adams signing out.
