I take a startled step back. That was...sooner than I expected.

Violet looked at me with a worried expression, slowly walking towards me. "Are you ok?"

I swallow. "Y-yeah...no! No! I'm sorry Violet but we can't talk.." I babble, my eyes shifting to the side.

She looked shocked, and kind of upset. I suddenly felt very tense about the situation, as minuscule as it was.

"Oh..no..that's not what I meant.."

'Geez, I'm avoiding the inevitable. I'm only making it worse.' I thought miserably.

"Then what did you mean?" She asked, eyes wide.

"I-I meant. I had a future dream last night where we get into a fight about whatever you were about to ask me."

Her face suddenly grew very red, and she began fidgeting, avoiding eye contact.

I gazed at her a moment.

"You were about to ask why I joined the competition, right?" I asked, curiously.

She looked utterly shocked, then relieved.

"Y-yeah...yeah. That's exactly what I was about to ask you." She made her way up to me and smiled innocently, her face still a bit red. We both began walking to Leila's.

"I never realized you live close to me." I pondered. She simply nodded and a made a small 'hm' noise. It was kind of awkward...

We walked in silence for another five minutes, the leaves glistening in the sunshine, and the warm breeze blowing my hair.

"So.." she began thoughtfully, "What's a future dream? A dream about the future?"

My mind suddenly clicked. "Oh yeah!!" I exclaimed, and began running once more. "I have to tell the others!"

Violet began swiftly running next to me, I'm sure it was easier to her with extra limbs.

"What?! Why?"

"I'll explain when we get there!"

I collapse on Leila's front porch, panting heavily. My heart was still racing and my side ached from running. Violet seemed perfectly fine, however as she smiled, helped me up, then rang the doorbell.

Almost immediately, the door swung open and we were both yanked inside.

"You're finally here!" Leila exclaimed.

"What took you two so long?" Star asked, blowing a bubble.

"We both happened to be running late so we decided to walk together." Violet said.

"Yeah," I added, "But I have something very important to say!"

Everyone turned to face me. Silas was in his deer form on the couch, Leila was sitting on the floor next to Star who was leaning against the wall, and Violet was next to me.

"I had a future dream last night!" I exclaimed.

"Oohhh cool!" Leila cooed.

"Doesn't everyone who has the element of time have future dreams?" Star smirked.

"No! I mean yes! But not as vivid as the one last night. That means I'm growing stronger! Not to mention, I was able to prevent a fight between Violet and I!" I babbled.

Violet's face turned very red in the corner of my eye.

"That's actually pretty cool." Star said, flicking her tail and blowing another round, pink bubble.

I grinned shyly.

"So...you can see the future in your dreams..?" Silas asked, crossing his hooves.

I nodded. "Well kind of.... our minds are a lot stronger than we know they are, and timebu-...uhh those who have the element of time- their minds can predict the future based on everyone else's actions, so it's easily influential..so it's not exactly how it is in the dream, but very similar."

Everyone seemed to understand completely, nodding and smiling.

Silas stood up, now in his hybrid form.
"So..who wants to go get snowcones?"
