The person kneeled down in front of you. There seemed to be a commotion nearby, after this man called for someone.
"My name is Connor. What is your name?" Connor asked you. He acted very calm and gave you a smile as he waited for your response. Your mouth opened to speak by reflex, but you stopped. What...what was your name? Connor seemed concerned now.
"Can you speak?" He asked.
"Y-Y...Yes, I c-can..." You just realized how shaky your voice was. Before Connor could respond, two other men burst into the bathroom. One was equipped with black padded clothing, and was holding another black object. His skin was dark toned, and he seemed like he was protecting himself. After he saw the situation, he relaxed. The other had silvery grey hair, and was already talking to this 'Connor' person. You curled up into a ball, pressing your back into the wall until it hurt. You felt your heart beat accelerate as the grey haired man approached you. He seemed intimidating to you.
"Are you alright? Does anything hurt?" His gruff voice echoed in the tiny bathroom. Your arms stung, and your head throbbed. You weren't thinking right. You didn't respond.
"Lieutenant, there is blood trailing from her head. There must have been an injury inflicted to her skull." Connor spoke to the lieutenant. He nodded. His blue eyes studied you.
"What happened here? Do you remember anything? Are you sure you don't know your name?" Questions flooded you.
"No, n-no...I don't know a-anything." Shaky breaths came in and out of your lungs.
"Lieutenant, she may be suffering from shock. It isn't the best decision to ask her questions right now." Connor's voice seemed different from the other's voices. He accentuated words precisely, and paused for longer than expected. His suit reminded you of something. You couldn't remember it, though. The darker skinned man reached for your hand.
"Alright dear, lets get you out of here." Carefully, your hand reached his. Connor supported you until you got to your feet, and you followed the man limply.
"We can ask her questions later." You heard the lieutenant speak behind you. As you walked, you found that you were in a building. How did you get here? You spotted a steel object on the ground, with a tiny yellow sign next to it. You turned the corner to find even more people in the building. Everything passed by in a blur. Soon enough you were out of the building. It was dark outside. You could see tiny lights in the air.
"Connor." The man accompanied by Connor asked sharply. "Does she need to go to the hospital?" Connor stood in front of you, and looked over your quivering body. Why was he staring at you for so long?
"Do your bruises hurt immensely?" You assumed bruises meant the blue and purple spots on your arms and cheek.
"No...I don't think so. J-Just my head." You replied. He nodded, and looked back up at the lieutenant.
"She does seem to be suffering from memory loss, and a minor concussion. Not mentioning the other wounds on her arms and face." Connor spoke. The man kept looking at Connor.
"...So?" He asked, raising one thick eyebrow.
"Yes, she should see to the hospital soon. She may have been in that house for hours." They grey-haired man took in a deep breath and exhaled.
"Alright, we'll be on our way Chris. Stay here and finish up. I'll probably be back soon enough." Chris nodded at him, before going back into the house. Whose house was that anyway? The three of you moved towards a large object resting on wheels. It appeared to be beat up quite a bit, but was still functional. You had a strong sense that you knew this from somewhere. Connor was already inside of the object, awaiting his partner. The lieutenant gave you a funny look.
"Uhh...this is a car. Do you remember that?" He asked you, sarcastically. Then it clicked.
"Oh, yes. Sorry, I-I remember now." You opened the backseat passenger door and sat inside. You buckled yourself in. The car started up, and you pulled out into the black pavement.
"If you were wondering, this is Lieutenant Hank Anderson. I am his android, Connor. I was sent by CyberLife to accompa-" Hank turned up the volume of his radio to drown his voice out. You flinched from the sudden change in volume, but then smiled. These two seemed to be alright. Connor gave up on trying to talk, and simply gave you a smile before facing forward.
